Blessings Galore

Hello sweet friends...I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Cathy here bringing you some blessings galore!  I had a chance to experiment with some beautiful fall colors and a new technique for me..."Smackin' Acetate."  Here's the result:

I took Night of Navy, Really Rust, and Pumpkin Pie markers and scribbled bands of color on a piece of acetate, spritzed it with water, and "smacked" on a piece of Pure Luxury card stock.  After this dried, the beautiful image from the Autumn Collage Clear Stamp Set was inked with Versafine Black Onyx and stamped on top of the blended colors.  The frame part of the image was cut out.  The collage was stamped again on a piece of Vintage Cream card stock and the sentiment stamped below.  This panel was embossed with the Canvas Impression Plate and stitched to a piece of Night of Navy card stock which was adhered to a Vintage Cream card base.  A spritzer tool and markers were used to make the splatters on this panel.  Some Baker's Twine and pearls were added and the colorful collage image mounted on top with dimensionals.  I just love the many blessings the Lord provides during the fall season!

My second card was submitted for the sketch challenge in the Fall Frenzy Virtual Stamp Day over in the SNSS member forum at Splitcoastampers.  These adorable turkeys from the Gobble, Gobble Clear Stamp Set bring you more harvest blessings!

There's still one more day left to participate in the VSD fall activities. Hope you'll have a chance to participate in the fun!  We love to see your creations!  Speaking of blessings, three lucky challenge participants will have a chance to win a special SNSS prize!

Take time to enjoy the blessings galore of this beautiful season!

Hugs,
Cathy
