Sunflowers and Dandelions

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!   By now, most of the kids around here have begun a new school year...hope yours got off to a good start as well.  It's been two years now since I've had had to prepare a room for a new school year.  On the first day of school all of the retired teachers had breakfast together and waved as the school buses went by... fun!   Being retired has its advantages...the most obvious being more time to spend crafting!  It's Cathy here and my turn to share several cards with you.

I love sunflowers!  Their happy faces are perfect for sending hello wishes, and the sunflowers in the new Prim Blessings clear stamp set are perfect for doing just that!
Graphic 45 French Country DP is the perfect complement for these happy sunflowers.  Love the warm colors on this sunny hello card!

I usually do NOT like to see dandelions sprouting up on my lawn, but the Make a Wish dandelion is perfect for sending birthday wishes.
The dandelion was clear embossed and sponged with distress inks.  Tiny seed beads were hand stitched to the dandelion seeds blowing away in the wind.  This card was made for this week's sketch at The Sweet Stop.  If you get a chance, stop by and play along with SSS225!

That's it...weeds and flowers...both created by God for our pleasure!  Hope you've been blessed by your visit!

Hugs,
Cathy

Gorgeous cards as always Cathy!!! Love the stitching on the first card and the seed beads on the second. So clever.

I chuckled at your waving at the students on their way to school :)

Both are lovely cards, Cathy! How fun to be able to visit and wave as they went by!

Hi Cathy,

I'm still away on vacation but wanted to take a moment to leave some card love before we head out for a piece of our adventure. I'd love the Prim Blessing set with the sunflowers. The centers of your flowers look good 3D! Rich and chocolatey centers with golden leaves framed with sunflower autumnal designer paper helps me welcome in early fall. I love this time of year and your delightful card.
