Christmas Blessings

Hello! It's Monika here today with a Christmas card. We've been showcasing the new Christmas sets this month, and today Christmas Pine clear stamp set is in the spotlight:

What a beautiful set. I love the branches and the separate pine cones... and oh, the wonderful greetings... the different styles are so pretty...

Here is what I came up with:

The background was stamped with the music sheet image from Music to My Ears clear stamp set with VersaMark ink, then it was heat embossed with white embossing powder and sponged with distress ink. The pine branches and cones were stamped with Jet Black Archival ink, then sponged with green distress inks... to add texture to the colors, I splashed water on the sponged images and the water 'bleached' out the colors a little bit...

The red rhinestones and baker's twine, and the gold frame finished off the card.

Thank you for stopping by,
Monika

Oh, Monika! What a GORGEOUS card! I love the beautiful pine with the pinecones, and the glitter frame is stunning against the music background you've done a wash on. And how perfect that you've added some gauze, twine, and rhinestones. This is truly stunning, and I really love this set! Hugs, sweet friend!
