Let's Go to the Movies!

Did you know that Sweet N Sassy had digital stamps? They absolutely do and there are some very fun ones to choose from! And today I had so much fun playing with the Poppin' By Digital Stamp Set. Complete with cute image and 2 fun sentiments!!

First I created a CAS card and because I couldn't help myself, I took a little tutorial and learned to make a kernel of popcorn with polymer clay to embellish it with.

I also created a gift card holder for a movie gift card (you know...to round out the gift :)).

I love it! However, it is now too thick for an envelope hmmm... maybe I will put the card and the Gift card holder in a small box (haha - is that to counter-intuitive for a GC holder??)

I hope you like it!! Hop over to the Digital department of the store and have fun!!!

Free

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal here to share a card with you today using one of our newest releases, Free Indeed. This is a bible journaling se but I wanted to show that it is a great set for an independence day card also.
To make my card I started with a white top folding card base, a panel of Real Red cardstock for the mat and a white panel cut down with a stitched die.
I stamped the fireworks image in both red and blue and then the greeting in black. As you can see the "because of the Brave" isn't in this set. It is from a retired Sweet 'n Sassy set.

Happy birthday.

Hello SWEET Friends! It's Monika here today. I have a fun birthday card, using the amazing Creative Worship: Free Indeed clear stamp set.
It may not look versatile at first, but look... I used the images on a birthday card! Fun, fun, fun!

The images were stamped on water color paper and colored with Kuretake Gansai Tombi water colors.
The background was stamped with images from So Happy clear stamp set. It is such a great way to make a unique background. The tone-on-tone look is a nice backdrop to the bright fussy cut (and water colored) images.

Thank you for stopping by,
Monika

Happy Birthday! Choosing Faith with that Special Blend

Hi Sweet Friends!  Julie, here and today I am sharing a card using the June Stamp of the Month, Texture Tiles 2  along with the previously released stamp sets, Choose Faith and Special Blend.

I had fun creating my own background paper by first creating a wash of worn lipstick distress ink onto white cardstock, then stamping the solid words from Choose Faith (Grace and Joy) with a light pink ink and following with the brick wall image from Texture Tiles 2 using navy ink.

I heat embossed the stacked cup image and sentiment from Special Blend onto white cardstock, watercolored the cup image using water-based markers and die cut the image with s stitched rectangle die.

All of the panels were mounted onto navy cardstock and I finished off the card with a bit of a paper doily, a few buttons and shimmer and shine from a glitter pen and clear enamel drops (on the coffee).

Don’t forget, you have only a few more days left to obtain the Stamp of the Month, Texture Tiles 2 free with a net $75 (US$ order after all discounts and before shipping) plus any $75 or more order receives free shipping (US)- woohoo!

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by! I hope all of you have a blessed week!

This. Life.

{jane bosi}  This kid.  I'm really getting into scrapbooking again--Brotherly Love makes it all sorts of simple!  I recall, back in the heyday of my prime scrapping--I'd search forever for the exact piece of paper and the perfect embellishment.  Now, I have it all right at my fingertips with just a few stamp sets and my hoarded stash of paper!

To complete the above 8 x 8 page, I used Brotherly Love, Shake It Off Lowercase Alphabet, Bitty Minnie Alpha, Mini Grunge Type Alpha and Scripty Thoughts.

Brotherly Love makes awesome cards too!!  I had a lot of fun creating the various characters for this card front.  I had the Brady Bunch stuck in my mind when I started.....quite the departure from my first thought, but it all worked out in the end.  The image in the center of the card is from Super Dad.  Now IS the time to grap that set for $5!!  Don't miss out!

Have a great day--Jane

Love That Texture!

Hello sweet friends!  I love adding texture to cards!  Whether it's bricks, wood grain, pebbles, or tree bark, the new Texture Tiles 2 stamp set is a must have for creating that perfect texture.

The brick tile from Texture Tiles 2 was stamped on a Gelli Print scrap found in my scrap file to create the brick wall.  Check out how realistic it looks!  The flowers are from the Pretty Potted Florals stamp set and were Copic colored, cut out, and popped onto the wall.  A sentiment was added from the Scripty Thoughts stamp set to finish the card.

How about some tree bark?  Drag several shades of Distress Ink down the length of some card stock and stamp the wood grain tile with a darker shade.  A background was created with Distress Oxide inks and the pebbly tile from Texture Tiles 2.  The adorable birdie, clouds, and sentiment are all from the How Tweet stamp set.

Be sure to check out these stamp sets and others that work perfectly with the wonderful Texture Tiles 1 and Texture Tiles 2 stamp sets at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.  Even better...The Texture Tiles 2 stamp set is FREE with your $75 purchase until June 30th!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope I've inspired you to try stamping some texture on your next creation!

Hugs,
Cathy

Stand Out

Hello Sweet Friends!  It's Sheri here today sharing a card featuring the NEW Be A Flamingo stamp set.  As soon as I saw this set I had to have it!  The possibilities are endless with this set!

For my card I stamped the flamingo with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Markers.  I then added Glossy Accents to the beak and took a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen to add sparkle to the rest of the image.  Then I picked a sentiment and fussy cut the Flamingo before adding it to my card with some foam pop dots (I LOVE adding dimension and layers to my cards).

The Texture Tiles 2 stamp set is the June 2018 Stamp of the Month and is FREE with a $75 order (after all discounts and before shipping & tax) through 6/30/18

Happy Stamping!

I am Free....

A simple card for you today using a new set called Free Indeed.    The whole time I was making this card this song How Can It Be by Lauren Dingle playing in my mind.  Have you heard it? If not you can listen to it HERE.  This set is great for card making and journaling in your bible. I stamped with distress inks and the paper is from The Paper Studios.
This second card uses Free Indeed along with Texture Tiles 2 which is this month's set of the month.  If you place a $75 order you can get the set of the month free.  I used Distress Oxide inks to make the background papers.
Happy Stamping!

great guys

Good morning! I am sharing some cards today using a Sweet ‘n Sassy stamp set, Brotherly Love, from the June Release. I also used Girl Power and Bitty Minnie Alpha. I paired the guys and girls on my first card to make a wedding card.

There are a few different hats for the guys in the Brotherly Love set. I turned one into a camo hat on my second card since we have lots of hunters in our family.

These sets are very versatile and although they were designed for bible journaling, you can see they are great for cards too.

Have a great day!
Diane

Happy birthday!

Hello everyone! Today I want to share this birthday card with you.

I used the Brotherly Love stamp set to create the image on the card. There are so many options! I love to fiddle around with the images and create a lot of different results. I stamped the image on marker paper and colored it with alcohol markers.

I cut out the image and die-cut a frame in my patterned paper. I made a tag and stamped 'happy birthday' on it with black ink. I die-cut the edge of the tag to match the circle in my patterned paper. I distressed the edges of the card and papers with a blue ink to tie it all together. And instead of my regular sequins I decided to use wooden buttons to finish the card. I thought this would give it a more masculine look than the sequins :).

Big Bold Sentiments!

For today's cards, I used  the Script Outline Alpha Clear Stamp Set (new this month at Sweet N Sassy) to create bold sentiments on my cards. In order to let the sentiments speak  for the cards, I went pretty CAS on the cards.

For the first one, I inked up and colored a potted flower from Pretty Potted Florals, doodled a border around it (from my technique lover's challenge at Splitcoast Stampers TLC690) and inked "hi" right on top of it. I added Glossy accents on top to make it pop!

For my second card, I used a stencil from Simon Says Stamps and some Distress Oxides to create a colorful background then stamped out "hello" on top. I went over the word with clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle then sealed in the sparkle with Glossy accents. (It looks cool up close:)

I hope these inspire you to use your alpha stamps in new ways!

Thanks for stopping by!

be a flamingo.

Hello! It's Monika here today. I am so happy to be back with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! It was a long break. I missed creating with the fantastic SNSS images...

This month's release is (FL)AMAZING! One of my favorites is (surprise, surprise!) Be A Flamingo clear stamp set. Love the pretty hibiscus images and the sweet flamingo. Great script words! What a perfect summer set!

Today I have couple of girly cards.
My first card is using the big flower and leaf images...

I colored the images with Kuretake Gansai Tanbi water colors then splashed black and white ink on it... love the messy look! The background was smooshed in black distress ink.
The sentiment is from one of my all time favorites, Be Encouraged clear stamp set.

My second card is highlighting the oh, so fabulous flamingo image. What a great size! I again, water colored the images then fussy cut them. This time, the background was first sponged with yellow distress ink, then splashed with water.

I hope I inspired you to create!
Thank you for stopping by,
Monika

You Are Flamazing!

Hello sweet friends!  I have two flamazing samples to share with you today that were made with the new Be a Flamingo stamp set.

The water on the background was white embossed using one of the stamps from the Texture Tiles 2 stamp set.  The scene was masked and sponged.  Isn't that flamingo just adorable?  The flamingo and the leaves were colored with Copic Markers.  The wing on the flamingo was paper pieced.

The leaf from the Be a Flamingo stamp was white embossed repeatedly over a panel of watercolor paper and then watercolored.  Then the leaf was stamped over the panel with Archival Ink.  Three tags were die cut from this panel.  A masked off strip on the background...hard to see behind the tags...was stamped using one of the Texture Tiles 2 stamps.  The Copic colored flamingo and hibiscus were cut out and popped onto the tags to finish the card.

So many possibilities with the Texture Tiles 2 stamp set which also happens to be the June Stamp of the Month...FREE with a $75 purchase!

Be sure to check out these FLAMAZING stamps sets as well as the whole new June release at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
