Noel

Hello! Today I am sharing my last two Christmas cards using Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the October Release. Here I used Thrill of Hope and Texture Tiles 4.

The first card is CAS with some ink sponging on the background. Some snowflakes were stamped in black and others with blue ink.

I stamped the tree line monochromatic on the second card and the deer were stamped over a scrap of plaid from Texture Tiles 4 which was left over from another project. Love those deer!

Have a great day!

All Wrapped up Birthday

Happy Monday Sweet N Sassy Friends!!

Today I have a sweet and simple birthday card using one of this month's new stamp sets called All Wrapped Up and let me tell you...it is very versatile!

I will be creating a Christmas card in the next couple of days using the same layout, but adding the Christmas sentiments provided in the set and coloring it up in Christmas colors...

For this card though, I stamped the front package, then created a mask to cover it and stamped the stack of packages to "the back". I water colored it with Inktense pencils then fussy cut it and popped it up on foam. Before adding the image, I splattered some color on the background piece and added the sentiment.

I really like this card! It is fun and perfect for anyone of any age - those aren't always easy to find in my stash - what about yours??

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are inspired - Maybe you want to try a little water coloring this week?

Hugs,
Lyn

Llamas and Unicorns and Rainbows .. Oh my

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal, here to share some fun cards with you. I needed some birthday cards for a couple teens and the two sets I used to make them fit the bill. Llama Love and Be Unique

Bothe of the cards are pretty easy to make on the first one I stamped the party banners and llama using memento ink and colored them with Copic markers.
The second card is a little more involved because I stamped the unicorn and then masked it off to stamp the rainbow behind her.

Winter Wonderland

Hello! It's Monika here today sharing couple of cards using Winter Wonderland clear stamp set. It is such a fun set with super cute images to build different scenes...

I used the same church image for both cards, but tried to convey a different feel...

My first one is a 'contemporary' Christmas card. It doesn't look traditional, but still works for the occasion. The images (on both cards) are colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi water colors.

I used an alcohol ink clear window sheet for the background. I love the swirls and gold foiling that shows through the circle window. I wanted to add dimension, so I cut a circle window on the background panel to be the globe and popped up the whole panel... the base of the snow globe is also popped up. This allowed me to have 3 different dimensional levels. The greeting is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

My second card could be used for any occasion. I love how you could use this set all year round!

To add color to the background, I just used blue water color. Again, I wanted dimension, so I used dimensional tape to pop up the church and the small tree. The greeting came from Christmas Poinsettia clear stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by,
Monika

Pretty Plaids

Hello sweet friends!  Cathy here with two cards to share using some new products from the SNSS release this month.  I'm loving the plaid textures in the Texture Tiles 4 stamp set for creating backgrounds...AND there is only a week left to get this set FREE with your $75 purchase.

Since we are nearing the end of October, Breast Cancer Awareness month, my first card features pink get well wishes.

The background was created with Oxide Inks and one of the plaids from the Texture Tiles 4 stamp set.  Some Texture Paste was added through a striped stencil for added texture.  The coffee cups are from the Jesus & Coffee stamp set and were colored with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is a mixture of words from the Jesus & Coffee set and Scripty Thoughts.  A bow and sequins finish the card.

How about these non-traditional Christmas colors?  Another Oxide Ink background stamped with a plaid from the Texture Tiles 4 stamp set was used for the base of this card.  (***Who needs patterned paper when you have Oxides and Texture stamps?)  The sentiment is from the Christmas Word Art stamp set.  The diagonal panels were also made with Oxide Inks and textures from the Texture Tiles 1 stamp set.  The package from the All Wrapped Up stamp set was colored with Copic Markers.  Add a little bit of colored twine and Bitty Sparkles to finish the card!

Here are the new products from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store that were used for these cards:

So glad you stopped by...hope you were inspired!
Hugs,
Cathy

coffee...then all the things

Hello! Today I have some cards to share using the coffee themed Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the October Release. This great set is called Jesus & Coffee.

The first two are CAS encouragement cards to let someone know you are 100% behind them...and coffee will help too! My first card simply has a strip of washi tape across the top and the cup is popped up on dimensionals. I colored the cup black and added some dots with a white pen.

My second card also uses the Sunshine Girl Alpha to help create the sentiment. This cup was paper pieced.

I actually don’t drink coffee but I do like to make coffee themed cards. They are great to have on hand when you want to add a gift certificate to your local coffee and donut shop! Here are two more cards to use for that purpose!

On this next card I also used a plaid stamp from Texture Tiles 4, the October Stamp of the Month, to create a patterned To-Go cup in a fun Santa style. Part of the sentiment is from All Wrapped Up and a matching embossing folder was used for the background.

For my last card, I also used the Sunshine Girl Alpha to create the sentiment. Here I paper pieced the middle band on the cup and used an edge die for an interesting background panel.

Have a great day!
Diane

Jesus and Coffee

{jane bosi} Hello, Sweet Friends!  I hope this Saturday is a relaxing day for you!  And, hopefully a day for you to enjoy a slow cuppa jo and some time with our Savior!  I love that early morning time before the whole house wakes, when it's just me and Jesus.

SNSS's Jesus and Coffee is such a me set, I can't stop grabbing for it!

I used my distressed crayons on the card above to create the multi-color vibrant background--it was too cool to cover up so I opted for a cute little sentiment and called it done--

What are you creating today?  TTFN Jane

Christmas Gifts- All Wrapped Up!

Hello everyone, Stephanie here today with 2 cards for you using the new set All Wrapped up. I love this set, it is perfect for Christmas cards/tags or can be used for pretty much any occasion throughout the year!

For my first card I colored my image with Copic markers and the design paper is from The Paper Studios.  For a little extra something I added 3 brads to take up space in the corner.
I wanted to keep this next card CAS so I stamped one of the presents with versamark and heat embossed with red powder, I used some glitter paper behind the present to make it pop!  I love this Kraft colored designer paper from The Paper Studios.  I added some brads and sparkly twine to finish it off.   Remember, if you spend $75 Korin offers free shipping and you get the stamp of the month (pictured below) for free!!!  Happy Crafting!

Wrapped in Love

Hello everyone! Today I want to share this 'wrapped in love' card. I love the sentiments in the 'All Wrapped Up' set, you can use this set for birthdays but also a lot of other occasions that are worthy of some presents.
For this card I stamped the stack of gifts onto marker paper and colored them with my alcohol markers. You can go crazy with the colors but I decided to stick to a blue/purple color scheme. When I colored the image I cut it out and made the background for my card. I used the purple color scheme for the background too. I had this lovely kraft paper with purple foiled words so that was a great match this time. I stamped the sentiment on a kraft colored tag. I started out with a purple color but that was a bit too dull on the kraft paper. So I stamped the sentiment another time with black ink and I decided to stamp it a little bit above the purple one so the purple would function as a shadow of the sentiment. After that all I had to do was adhere everything to the card. I added a couple of sequins and pearl drops to give the card a more festive look. That's it!

I used the stamp set 'All Wrapped Up'.

It's a Winter Wonderland

Today I have some fun new projects using one of the October sets. The Winter Wonderland Set is very versatile. The little images in the set are perfect to create little scenes either inside a globe or on their own...I created a card and some tags.

My card is clean and simple. I colored up my image with Copics but then went back with a white color pencil to add some "highlights" to create a glass sphere look. I fussy cut the globe and popped it up on a piece of snowflake embossed vellum (which I mounted on blue card and a white base) I colored a piece of scrap paper with a gold Sharpie and stamped and embossed the sentiment on it so when I adhered it to my snow globe, it would look like a little plaque.

Then I created simple scenes on some wooden tags and colored them with colored pencils. The images were rustic as was the wood grain so I used some jute to create the hangers and compliment the look. These are going to be perfect for masculine packages!

I stamped up several more to put in a small bag to travel with. I thought they would be fun to color on a trip and since they are small they won't be too heavy!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are inspired to try your stamps out on various surfaces - just have fun!

Hugs,
Lyn

A Weary World Rejoices

Hello, Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal, here to share some more inspiration with one of our new releases Thrill of Hope
I titled my post as a weary world rejoices  first because there has been a couple of posts with thrill of hope as the subject but mostly because we do rejoice at the thrill of hope (Jesus)

I created a couple different card with the gorgeous set. The first one I used distress oxides and then spritzed with water for the snowy effect.
and the second one I used Gina K inks and then a white Gelly roll pen for the snow. Two different loos out of one set. This set makes some gorgeous Christmas cards!

thrill of hope

Happy Saturday! The SNSS teams are working ahead for Christmas and today I have two cards to share using some Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the October Release. Here I used Thrill of Hope and Texture Tiles 4.

For my first card, I stamped the images in black and then used black ink again with a plaid from Texture Tiles 4 to create the background.

The images on my second card were stamped with navy ink. I first stamped some green and blue plaids and cut them to sizes that would piece together nicely.

Have a great day!
Diane
