It's a Winter Wonderland

Today I have some fun new projects using one of the October sets. The Winter Wonderland Set is very versatile. The little images in the set are perfect to create little scenes either inside a globe or on their own...I created a card and some tags.

My card is clean and simple. I colored up my image with Copics but then went back with a white color pencil to add some "highlights" to create a glass sphere look. I fussy cut the globe and popped it up on a piece of snowflake embossed vellum (which I mounted on blue card and a white base) I colored a piece of scrap paper with a gold Sharpie and stamped and embossed the sentiment on it so when I adhered it to my snow globe, it would look like a little plaque.

Then I created simple scenes on some wooden tags and colored them with colored pencils. The images were rustic as was the wood grain so I used some jute to create the hangers and compliment the look. These are going to be perfect for masculine packages!

I stamped up several more to put in a small bag to travel with. I thought they would be fun to color on a trip and since they are small they won't be too heavy!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are inspired to try your stamps out on various surfaces - just have fun!

A Weary World Rejoices

Hello, Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal, here to share some more inspiration with one of our new releases Thrill of Hope
I titled my post as a weary world rejoices  first because there has been a couple of posts with thrill of hope as the subject but mostly because we do rejoice at the thrill of hope (Jesus)

I created a couple different card with the gorgeous set. The first one I used distress oxides and then spritzed with water for the snowy effect.
and the second one I used Gina K inks and then a white Gelly roll pen for the snow. Two different loos out of one set. This set makes some gorgeous Christmas cards!

thrill of hope

Happy Saturday! The SNSS teams are working ahead for Christmas and today I have two cards to share using some Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the October Release. Here I used Thrill of Hope and Texture Tiles 4.
For my first card, I stamped the images in black and then used black ink again with a plaid from Texture Tiles 4 to create the background.
The images on my second card were stamped with navy ink. I first stamped some green and blue plaids and cut them to sizes that would piece together nicely.

Have a great day!

Thrill of Hope

Hello Friends! It's Monika here with a Christmas card. I've been slowly building up my holiday stash! It is time to get started if you haven't yet...

Today I am showcasing Thrill of Hope clear stamp set

I used an alcohol ink background (Sunshine Yellow, Butterscotch, Cranberry Ranger Ink and Blending Solution) with gold foiling. I've been enjoying these super fun and cool backgrounds. Every single one is different, as it would be very hard to replicate the flow of ink...

The trees were stamped with black VersaFine then were heat embossed with clear embossing powder in the background. I love the subtle look. The white glitter paper was die-cut to build the foreground scene.

Thanks for stopping by,

A Latte Plaids

Hello, sweet friends!  Cathy here sharing two cards using some of the new stamp sets from the October release.

Distress Oxide Inks were smooshed onto a mixed media panel and then stamped with one of the plaids from the new Texture Tiles 4 stamp set...after all, who does't love a warm, cozy flannel plaid?  This panel was cut apart and the parts were used to create both cards.

One of the plaid sections was stitched to the left side of this card.  The snow globe from the Winter Wonderland stamp set was filled with some of the small images from the set to create a winter scene. A little sparkle was added to the snowy slopes and Glossy Accents applied to the windows on the church.

Although I am not a coffee drinker, the Jesus & Coffee stamp set is wonderful for creating cute cards for coffee loving friends and Bible journaling pages.

The other plaid Oxide Ink section was stitched to the center of this card.  The different mugs and cups from the Jesus & Coffee stamp set were colored with Copic Markers, cut out and popped onto the card.  The sentiment was made with words from the So Thankful and Jesus & Coffee stamp sets.  Sequins were added to finish the card.

These stamp sets from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store were used to create the cards above:

I love all of the Texture Tile stamp sets and Texture Tiles 4 is no exception.  Great news...Texture Tiles 4 is the October Stamp of the Month and is free with your $75 order until the end of the month so be sure to head on over to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store to check out the new release.

Thanks so much for stopping by...Happy stamping until next time!

Merry Christmas

Hello Sweet Friends!  It's Sheri here today with some Christmas inspiration featuring the NEW All Wrapped Up stamp set.  The fun part of this set is that it can be used to create birthday cards.

For my cards today I stamped some of the packages in the set and paired them with a sentiment to create the focal panels on the cards.  I used copic markers along with some pattern papers from the Cozy & Bright 6x6 pad by American Crafts.  These were very quick and easy to put together.

Don't forget that the Texture Tiles 4 stamp set is the October 2018 Stamp of the Month and is FREE with a $75 order (after all discounts and before shipping & tax) through 10/31/18.

 Happy Stamping!

A little bit of winter.....

I am loving this new set called Winter Wonderland from this month's new release.  I especially love this vintage looking truck.  I decided to make a shaker card I think for only the second time in my crafty life!  I might have put too much glitter (snow) in it but I kind of like the way it looks.  I colored my image with Copic markers and the paper is from The Paper Studios.   Make sure you check out the new release this month, it is awesome, you can get the whole thing at at a great discount when you buy the  early bird bundle,  and don't forget the stamp of the month which is free with $75 purchase and as always Korin offers free shipping with a $75 purchase.   Happy Crafting!

all wrapped up

Good morning! Today I have two cards to share using some Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the October Release. Here I used All Wrapped Up.
On my first card, I did some simple masking to stamp the presents...then colored with Copics. The tiny snowflakes on the last present are from Thrill of Hope.
The plaids are so popular now...even in wrapping paper! Here I stamped a plaid from the October Stamp of The Month set, Texture Tiles 4, and used it for my background. I also used a small piece to stamp the present on. The present was stamped a second time on white cardstock and just the ribbon was colored, cut out, and layered on top.

Have a great day!

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone! I started preparing my Christmas cards as soon as I got this stamp set. You can never be too early ;) And making Christmas cards can take some time so now is a good time to start.

For this card I stamped the image of the snow globe on watercolor paper. I stamped the scene inside the globe and colored it with watercolors. After that I masked the bottom part of the image to create a sky with Distress inks. I cut out the globe and adhered it to the card with foamtape. I used background paper with a touch of gold and golden embellishments to get that Christmas feeling with this card.

I used the stamp set Winter Wonderland.

I hope you're inspired to create something today!

Vintage Christmas

Today I have a CAS card that feels kind of vintage to me. Not sure why, but that is my story and I am sticking to it... By the way,  is it just me or does it seem unreal that we are in the Christmas card making season??

For this one I stamped up the Christmas Poinsettia with Versamark then embossed it with copper powder. I masked it and stamped another one to fill out the bottom of the card panel. I used watercolors to color my flowers and once it was dry, I used some Dandelion Yellow Nuvo Drops to create the flower centers.

I added a little wash of color to the background then used one of the sentiments from the set (also embossed in copper).

What do you think - is it vintage?

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are inspired!

Women of Praise

Y'all I just returned from the most amazing weekend. I attended the Women of Paris retreat in Savannah with many of the Sweet 'n Sassy design team and finally after 11 years got to met Korin in real life. She is a super sweet woman of god. We did Bible journaling, fellowshipped and worshipped the Lord the entire weekend it was so amazing!
The set I used on my card, Women of Praise is a set that we received at the retreat but is also available in the store.
To make my card I started with a white top folding card base and a panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. I used distress oxide inks to create my background and the stamped the images on top using the Misti of course.
This stamp can be used so many ways and it a must have in your stamp room.
