Punny Fruits and Veggies


Hi there!

Jessica here popping in to share a 4.25" x 4.25" card set that I made recently using the adorable
Punny Fruits & Veggies stamp set.


I went very clean and simple with all three cards for the set, focusing on just a couple of elements that I included on each card: paper pieced fruits, one color scheme with different patterned papers, and the coordinating sentiment stamped on a strip of paper adhered to the tag focal point.


I went with as close of a 'peach' color as I could for my next one.  Rather than worrying about stamping the stems and leaves on a separate paper, I just colored them with a couple of dark Copics, covering the color of the paper a bit.


I used some soft Cantaloupe baker's twine to wrap around the card front and a Basic Grey glazed brad for the tag.



I love this little peapod! I stamped it once on the die cut and then on the patterned paper, only piecing the leaves and the peapod, not worrying about the stem and vines.
