Clean and Simple Curves

Hello, it's Bridget here, and I'm back again for my second week
as April's guest designer with the talented Design Team at SNSS!
For this card of encouragement I used the plain die
from the fantastic Hillside Edges Dies to make some
curved edges along the bottom third of a panel.
Both pieces have been sponged with ink for an ombre effect
and I carefully arranged the sentiment cling stamp from the
fabulous set Be Encouraged on the acrylic block with just the
same curves.  It can be difficult to get the curve to match,
so it helps to die-cut a post it note and adhere it to the
acrylic block, then carefully bend the stamp along the edge.
I then attached wavy die-cuts using dp and added some sequins
along the lower half.  I love the sentiments from Be Encouraged -
they're just perfect for sending a card to someone
who's going through a very rough time.  I know how much it
helps me to hear these truths about God's love and power when
I'm feeling overwhelmed by pain, discouragement or anxiety.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope it's a good one for you!
