July 2020 Release Blog Hop

Welcome to our July Release Blog Hop!

July is here and our release is hot, hot, hot! Read on for a bit of inspiration and a little walk through of this month's new goodies, then hop along to the blogs linked below for all sorts of papercrafting inspiration.

Plus, there's a GIVEAWAY! Leave a little shout out in the comment section on each stop along the way for a chance to win a $10 gift voucher to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop. Winner will be announced here on the SNSS blog, Wednesday, July 22.

Here's the official hop list. If a link misbehaves along the way,
hop on back here to pick  up where you left off.

My card for today mixes three of the new sets. Once I started playing with the True Beauty set, I may have gotten a little carried away.  Seriously fun, and each one was created with two colors of ink. Lightest ink with the solid, then the darker ink with the outline or detail stamps. So much fun to just play. Then I fussy cut each one and lightly sponged around the edges with the darker inks.

When they were all sitting there together, I decided I wanted to add a few of them to a card.  I've been on a slimline kick lately, so decided to keep on kicking it slimline style.  The card base is 3.5" x 8.5". For the main panel, I took a 3.25" x 7.25" panel and stamped the sentiment.  The "you're simply the" portion is from the Summer Fruits set.  I masked off the ZEST portion, so I could add in the BEST with the new County Fair Alpha.  This alpha is so playful, and I just love it with the roses.

After my sentiment was done, I dry embossed the top and bottom portions of the card with a brushed dot embossing folder, then layered the flowers and leaves together.  I added the whole panel to a foam sheet for some dimension, then accented with a few enamel dots to finish things off.

Here's another slimline card I created with the some of those flowers from the True Beauty set.

Okay, the next stop on the hop is my blog, Poetic Artistry

Here's a little look-see at the sets included in the July release...

First up is the July stamp of the month, Summer Fruits. This set is available for purchase for $15.95, OR you can get it as a FREE gift with a $75 purchase (after any discounts and before shipping and tax) during the month of July! Please note you MUST add this set to your cart to receive the discount. Once your order qualifies, the discount will apply to the set in your shopping cart.

Next up is the gorgeous Flower Garden set by Jennifer Nilsson Art. This set is filled with blooms and greenery perfect for building your own garden card, or as focal points.

If you love to mix and match, you can pair the set above with the grogeous new Bee Sweet set also from Jennifer Nilsson.

Rebecca Rios brings us a beauty of a set with the new True Beauty.  Designed to maximize options, there are so many different looks you can achieve by layering different flowers together. Note: the stamps are not meant to line up perfectly all together. Play around with different pairings and we know you'll fall in love with this versatile set.

Rebecca also brings us the gorgeous new Grace Upon Grace set this month.  This lovely journaling set is perfect for exploring God's amazing grace.

Our final set this month is the fun and playful County Fair Alpha from Rebecca Rios.

That's our July Release in a nutshell! So many fabulous sets to choose from! What's your favorite?

May you be blessed today and always!

  5. Roses always have a way of stealing my heart. I love flowers anyway, but I probably have more roses than any others in the collection. This is a great set. I am excited to see it!

  8. PRETTY flowers. Flower garden and the bee set are both just wonderful. But then I'm a gardener who loves bees, so it makes scents (sense ha ha ha ha).
