August 2020 Blog Hop + GIVEAWAY

Welcome to our August Release Blog Hop!

Wow! So hard to believe that we're already near the middle of August!  We've got a beautiful release to share with you this month, so let's get to it! Read on for a bit of inspiration and a little walk through of this month's new goodies, then hop along to the blogs linked below for all sorts of papercrafting inspiration.

Plus, there's a GIVEAWAY! Leave a little shout out in the comment section on each stop along the way for a chance to win a $10 gift voucher to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop. Winner will be announced here on the SNSS blog, Wednesday, August 19.

Here's the official hop list. If a link misbehaves along the way,
hop on back here to pick  up where you left off.

For my card today, I chose the Bushel of Blessings set. I love these delightful fall images and had fun coloring up this basket of flowers with Copic markers. I cut the layer with a slimline die, then inked with wheat ink.

The sentiment is from the previously released Friendship is a Blessing set.  I embossed it onto a doily die cut and inked the edges to match my main panel. The banner strip is cut from peacock cardstock and then embossed with a striped embossing folder. I matted with the same color and added a grosgrain knotted bow before adhering to the 3.5" x 8.5" card base.  I finished with some stickles on the flowers, and added a bit of dimension with the sentiment panel up on foam tape.

Okay, the next stop on the hop is my blog, Poetic Artistry, with another creation from me!

Here's a little look-see at the sets included in the August release...

First up is the August stamp of the month, Coffee Talk. This set is available for purchase for $15.95, OR you can get it as a FREE gift with a $75 purchase (after any discounts and before shipping and tax) during the month of July! Please note you MUST add this set to your cart to receive the discount. Once your order qualifies, the discount will apply to the set in your shopping cart.

Next up is the gorgeous Bushel of Blessings set by Jennifer Nilsson Art. With gorgeous autumn imagery and sentiments, this set is sure to become a fall staple.

If you love to mix and match, you can pair the set above with the grogeous new Like a Sunflower set, also from Jennifer Nilsson.

Rebecca Rios brings us the fabulous The Lord's Battle set this month. With boots and sentiments perfect for encouragement for everyone facing a battle.

Our final set this month is the fun and playful Marker Alpha from Korin Sutherland.

That's our August Release in a nutshell! So many fabulous sets to choose from! What's your favorite?

May you be blessed today and always!

  7. Your card is so lovely Julee. I really like the contrast of the dark brown grosgrain ribbon with the peacock card stock. I also like the colour you called Wheat that you used. I've not seen it before. That basket of flowers stamp is so pretty.
