Hello, Julie here to share another
card with the new We Three Kings from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps.
This card was created using the
Splitcoaststampers F4A284 “Everything Old is New Again” using the Cracked Glass
Technique (this technique seemed to be popular
years ago and I thought that the We Three Kings image would be perfect
to give it a try) :-) !
To create the Cracked Glass Panel-
stamp the We Three Kings wisemen image using a Dark Navy ink (allow the ink to dry), trim
the panel and apply Versamark™ ink over the entire piece.

While the Versamark™ ink is still wet, apply a thick clear
embossing powder over the panel ( I used an old container of Glassy Glaze I had on hand, heat set with the Heat
Tool, allow the thick embossing powder to dry and repeat the steps (re-inking with Versamark™ , applying the embossing powder and heating)- I applied a total of three coats of the embossing powder.
Place the embossed panel in the
freezer to cool and then you can gently “crack” the embossing when you twist the paper (be careful not to twist it or "scrunch" too hard).
Finish by mounting onto cardstock and adding your embellishments.
To me the cracked glass panel looks like something antique that you might find in your grandmother’s attic- a vintage style for sure :-)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you
have a wonderful day!!
