Jesus Paid it All

Happy Easter! We rejoice today that our Savior lives!

"God sent His son, they called Him Jesus;
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!"

This Easter set is perfect for telling the story of salvation.

Once and For All

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal, here to share with you today. If you follow us on Facebook then you know we had a Stamp-a-thon this past weekend to celebrate Korin's birthday. There is still time to play along, just head to our VIP group on Facebook. you have until Saturday the 11th to enter. I hosted an ink blending challenge and would love for you to join in.

With this being Holy Week I decided to make a couple Easter cards using one of my favorite techniques paired up with one of my favorite all time Easter sets.

To create the top card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel for blending. Using the Picket Fence Studios Blender Brushes I blended Picked Raspberry, Carve Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks. Next I stamped the three cross image from the Jesus Paid it All set and also used the die cut image popped up over it to give it a shadow. The sentiment is from the Hello my Name Is set. I finished the card by adhering a black mat to the focal panel and then adhering it to the card base.

For the bottom card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. This time I used a stencil for the sun rays background and then just blended the grass below it.
I used the three cross die cut and cut it out four times and stacked them together before attaching it to the panel. The sentiment is from the He is Risen set.

Jesus Paid It All

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
Happy Good Friday to you!
It's Ceal here to share with you a card using an oldie but goodie and one of our new sets to celebrate Jesus' resurrection. I can't believe it is Easter already, next thing ya know it will be Christmas again lol. Every year on good Friday I wake up with this song in my head Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe. My sin was like a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow! Praise God for the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel cut dow with a stitched die. I Masked off the bottom portion of the panel with post-it notes and then used the rotating rays stencil and distress oxide inks in Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed lemonade to create the background. Next I removed the stencil and stamped the three crosses image from the set Jesus Paid it All using Catherine Pooler's Midnight ink. To finish the card I removed the masks and stamped the greeting from the Timeless Hymns set also in Midnight ink.

Sunday's Coming

Happy Saturday!
It's Ceal here to share with you today, with Easter being tomorrow I just had to use this set Jesus Paid It All, I also used the coordinating die as well. To give it the 3D effect I cut out the Calvary die twice in two different colors of brown.
The background is sponged using distress inks and a scallop die was used to sponge the clouds.
Thanks for looking!
I pray you have a blessed Easter and remember it's not about the bunny :)

Jesus Paid it All ~

 photo SNSSJesuspaiditall.jpg

Good Morning Sweet'nSassy fans! Mary here sharing with you another card made with a combination of my favourite sets this time of year. This card is created with He Lives and cut out using the matching Rugged Cross die. This verse from an old hymn is one of the six sentiments from Jesus Paid it all set. The cross is planted in the mounds of dirt from the Calvary die.

I coloured the cross image using various inks and pulling it with my watercolour brush. I layered it onto black cardstock to create a shadow. The background is created using sponges, inks and a masking technique. The sentiment is stamped using black versafine ink.

Don't forget, Sweet 'n Sassy is releasing some fantastic new images, sentiments and dies!  Our release party is tonight at 8pm EST in our Splitcoaststampers Member Company Forum.  Don't miss the fun!!

Thank you for stopping by.

Hi everyone! Mary here to share with you. My card today might seem out of season but not really. The chronology of Jesus birth, life and death was all a Master plan for mankind. As you celebrate Christ's birth let us not lose sight of the life laid down for us at Calvary.

I combined the all new Grunge elements to depict drops of blood and used the stamp and matching dies from Jesus Paid it all

Materials used:
Stamps: Grunge elements, Jesus Paid it all
Paper: MME, SU
Inks: Versafine red, Versafine black
Accessories: Ribbon

Christ Arose

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!
It's Ceal here, today I am sharing a card made with the Calvary Die and the Jesus Paid It All  stamp set. To make my card, I cut out the crosses using the Calvary die and then used the negative from it. I used an embossing folder to emboss around the edges and placed patterned paper underneath and then popped it up and added it to my cardbase.

All To HIM I Owe

I love this set Jesus Paid It All from the February release. I find myself singing  the lyrics for days  each time I make a  card using it. I wanted my  focus to be on the chorus, so I made a CAS card by using some banners and a doily and made it my main focal point.

Jesus Paid It All

A favorite stamp set from the most recent SNSS release is Jesus Paid It All.
I stamped the image and sentiment on a piece of ivory cardstock and die cut it with a Spellbinders die, gently sponging the edges while still in the die with Memento Desert Sand.  The background was stenciled using Love Letter ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Blessings,

Jesus Paid

Good morning!  I am back today as guest designer with 2 cards to share using the Jesus Paid It All stamp set and it's coordinating Calvary die.  For the first one, I thought these fun yellow and gray prints would be perfect to use on a starburst card.
I cut my own pattern and traced the pieces onto patterned paper.  Then they were cut out and pieced together.  A side view shows the Calvary diecut popped up with dimensionals.
For the second card, I used the negative of the diecut and let the base cardstock show through.
Have a wonderful day!
