Hello Sweet Friends! Sheri here today to let you know that a NEW VIP Challenge has started over in the Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps VIP Group over on Facebook. Each month a new challenge is posted on the first of each month and runs for the entire month. One random winner is selected at the end of the challenge to WIN a SNSS stamp set of their choice!

This month we are challenging you with a "WATER" Theme! You just need to incorporate water in your project (raindrops, puddles, watering cans, ocean, beach, nautical stamps, etc). You can find the challenge HERE.

For my sample card I choose to use the Nautical themed stamps and pulled out the Peace Be Still stamp set to create this simple Thinking of You card. Love how the textured background makes the sailboat and sentiment pop.

Thinking of You

Hello Sweet Friends!  Sheri here today with a card featuring the NEW Flower Garden stamp set along with a sentiment from the In This Together stamp set.  The In this Together set is also available as a digital stamp.

**THIS POST CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU**

I used a monochromatic design with a fun pop of color.  I was able to achieve this by mixing a bunch of black & white pattern papers I found in my scrap bin and the pop of color comes from the sweet flower and decorative scallop border I added.  I think the flower really pops with the mix of patterns from the arrange of papers I used.  What do you think?  Do you like using pattern paper on your cards?

Card Measurements:
A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Black Mat: 4" x 5 1/4"

Shabby Thinking of You

Hi Sweet 'n Sassy friends! It's April and there's a gorgeous new release in the shop.

The new Country Garden set stole my heart with it's gorgeous shabby chic farmhouse feel, so I colored up this lovely chair image in a soft palette, opting for neutrals for my mats and background.

For the background, I stamped the previously released Delightfully Delicate Background tone on tone on stone (that's fun to say!) cardstock, then sponged around the edges.  I absolutely love this background stamp! I added a touch of lace from my stash and a few paper flowers to accent the sentiment circle, then finished off the card.

If you haven't already, you'll want to head to the shop to check out the entire April release. The Early Bird Bundle is a great way to save a little money. And don't forget the April Stamp of the Month is a free gift with your $75 order (it can also be purchased if you just have to have it!)

Wishing you many blessings!

Thinking of You Card

Hi Sweet 'n Sassy friends! It's Julee here, popping in with a little share of a card using an old favorite, but new to me set.

***THIS POST CONTAINS COMPENSATED AFFILIATE LINKS AT NO COST TO YOU***
This Poppies & Greetings set is so delightful. Beautiful images, and sweet sentiments sized just right for cardmaking. A winning set in my book.

This card is the current Mojo Monday card sketch challenge on my blog, Poetic Artistry. I started by making my focal circle stamping the poppies image, then die cutting the circle so there would be enough room to add the sentiment to the cop of the circle. I then colored the flowers with Copic markers and matted this piece with a doily die cut in black.

The other layers on the card are patterned paper, matted with white and then I used a few strips of washi as the horizontal element on the card. Super fun, and those poppies are just so elegant.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you haven't heard, Sweet 'n Sassy is having a FREE first class shipping promo through April 30 on US orders $20 and over. There's a shipping discount for international peeps, too! Something for everyone. 😊 Use code SP19SHIP in the SNSS shop for savings!

Winnie's Garden... thinking of you

Hello! It's Monika here today, with a sweet garden card. I love the new Winnie's Garden clear stamp set. With it's 20+ images, you sure to find something to your liking. I love the whimsy style of the sweet images.
I have a simple 'thinking of you' card:

The gardening can seems to be a popular image with the DT girls. LOL! It's really great for any occasions.
I stamped the images with Jet Black Archival ink, then water colored them... I stamped an extra butterfly and spade, colored them, cut them out... then adhered them to the main images with dimensional tape. The border was stamped with a swirl image from Leafy Flourish Background & More clear stamp set.

I hope I inspired you to create something today.

Thank for stopping by,
Monika
