Get Well Chicken

Hello! It's Monika here today, with a get well card.

I have a friend who loves chickens. She recently had to have a hand operation, so I wanted to make a card for her with the sweet chicken from Get Well Critters clear stamp set. I knew she'd get a kick out of it...

 

 

While I did not use the coordinating die set (Get Well Critters Die set), I used some of my favorite dies to make the scene. It might seem familiar, since I used these dies before... remember?

To build the fun scene, I used Hillside Edges, Bare Tree, Happy Happy, and Fence & Grass (currently unavailable) Die sets.

For the greeting, I used Get Well Innies clear stamp set.

Hello! It's Monika here today, giving you a SWEET peek of Winnie's Garden clear stamp that will be coming out soon. It's going to have 20+ fabulous images and greetings, perfect for Spring...

 

 

I wanted to make something fast, but add an easy technique... hence the heat embossing. The raised surface always gives an extra touch to any cards. The main images were stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with white embossing powder... then they were water colored, along with the background.

 

I also used Get Well Innies clear stamp set.

Under the Weather

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Friends…happy Friday!  Have you had a chance to see the new stamp sets added to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store?  If you love our innies, you will want to add Get Well Innies to your collection.  They are perfect for sending a little bit of sunshine to someone who is feeling under the weather.  When you pair the Get Well Innies with the new Happy Together stamp set, you have a winning combination!

Distress inks were tapped onto an acrylic block, spritzed with water, and stamped onto the Bristol Board card stock to make the background.  The children from the Happy Together set were stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.  Wish You Were Here, Head in the Clouds (currently out of stock but the Clouds & Raindrops Die set is available), and Windy Winnie stamp sets were used for the umbrella, cloud, and raindrops.  Glossy Accents were added to the raindrops and a few dew Drops were added to finish the outside of the card.  The sentiment from Get Well Innies was split so when you open the card…

…you see the other part of the sentiment and the sun from Wish You Were Here.

Sending Warm Wishes to Cheer You

Hello Wednesday Friends!

Get Well Innies is one of two brand new stamp set we have in the store.  It has lots of sweet sentiments.  I used one on the front of my card and one on the inside too.

I used two other stamp sets to make my card - Prim Blessings and Baked for You. The sunflowers are from Prim Blessings and the little flower accents are from Baked for You.  I die cut and colored my sunflower images and built my card from there.  The Get Well Innies worked perfectly on this particular card layout.
