Giraffe-ic Friend

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!
It's Ceal back with a valentines card using the Stand Tall set along with the coordinating dies

To make this card I started with a white top folding white card base and white panel. I created a background on the panel by ink blending with the Hearts Galore stencil and some pink ink. I added some Glitter paste on top to make them sparkle.

Stand Tall

One of my goals this year is to add more cards for kids into my stash. I also love punny sentiments too. So, when I spotted the adorable Stand Tall set on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps site I knew I had a winner that would do both.

The background I made in March with three different colors of green and the Grunge Grid stencil. I die cut the panel and added the fence along with three layers of grass form the Fence & Grass die set. I trimmed the edges, matted with white and attached to a white card base. I stamped the images on white, fussy cut the cloud/sun and die cut the other ones. I left the cloud white and colored the other images with alcohol markers. I assembled as seen and stamped the sentiment directly on the background panel.

Happy Birthday Princess!

Today I have a very quick and sweet birthday card for a sweet little princess using Child of the King and Stand Tall Stamp Sets.

I used Canson watercolor paper for the base and did some ink smooshing with Distress Inks (Victoria Velvet and Seedless Preserves.) I inked the image and sentiment in Versa Fine Onyx Black and WOW clear embossing powder then colored the image with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents, and rounded corners finished my card off.

It makes me smile!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!  A friend at church is about to become a grandmother for the first time.  She is ecstatic and is flying out to be with her daughter and son-in-law to welcome the new arrival.  I have put together just a few darling Sweet 'n Sassy critters to congratulate her on her new nanny status!

The adorable giraffe and bird are from the new Stand Tall stamp set and the deer is from the As the Deer set.  The sentiment is from the Little One set.  A pretty plaid and some stitching finish off this cute little welcoming committee!

Happy Birthday

Hi all!  I'm so happy to be guesting here again today!  I have a fairly simple and somewhat masculine birthday card for you today.  I absolutely adore this sweet deer from the Creative Worship: As the Deer clear stamp set.  I colored him with Copics then fussy cut him and the trees.  I also added some little white freckles with a white gel pen on his cheeks.  For the background, which is from the same set, I stamped the image in a kraft hybrid ink.  I heat set it so that I could use my Zig pens and an aqua brush to get the watercolored look.

The sentiment from the Stand Tall stamp set was embossed with white embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Angel

Welcome Baby

Hello SWEET friends! It's Monika here today with a baby card.
Stand Tall clear stamp set seems to be the popular choice of stamp sets lately... here is a baby card using the SWEET giraffe image from the set.

The SWEET images were stamped with Onyx Black Memento ink on water color paper, then colored with Prismacolor pencils. The background was sponged with distress inks. Simple, but cute...

The greeting is from Keep in Touch, Too clear stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by,
Monika

as high as the sky

Good morning!

Today I am sharing a card using the new Stand Tall stamp set and a previously released favorite...Scribble Flowers and matching dies!  This giraffe set is very sweet and I wanted to go out of the norm and give it some equally sweet colors.  Pink giraffe? Yes, please!

I pulled my colors for the giraffe and flower from the fun patterned papers.  The giraffe was colored with Copics and the flower and leaves were stamped with black ink onto colored cardstock.  I love the way this flower set looks when done this way!  I just added an enamel dot to the center of the flower. (This particular flower has a stem but I cut it off.)

Have a happy and blessed Sunday!  Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!
Diane

Stand Tall - God is With You!

Today I have a couple of cards using Sweet N Sassy new release images.
My first card uses the Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set. I stamped my image on watercolor paper with Versafine Black Onyx, embossed it with WOW clear powder, and colored it up with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Watercolour Brush Pens. I used some Papertrey Ink Design Paper and that as they say is that!snss-stand-tall-valentine
Now I have another Valentine to send - I love to send them to all the kids in my life! It is so much fun! Do you send Valentines?
My second card is a very quick Clean and Simple card using a sentiment from the God is For You Stamp Set (definitely seeing a set of these in the near future.) I think that these sentiments on just the small cut out would be fun to stamp up and give to my Bible Journal friends... Hmmm I think I will get right on that!! What do you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stand Tall- Happy Birthday!

Hi Sweet Friends!

Wow! What a fabulous new Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps release this past Friday!!

Today I am sharing a card that I created using the brand new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps (SNSS) Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set (designed by Korin Sutherland).  I love this new stamp set, it is so cute and the sentiments are perfect for many occasions!

To create this card:

1). Emboss a piece of designer paper with a lattice embossing folder, trim and mount onto flamingo cardstock, trim and mount onto the chocolate card base.

2). Die cut two banners with a stitched banner die (I used a flamingo cardstock and a chocolate patterned paper from my stash), adhere both directly to the card front per the sketch and add the patterned paper rectangle.

3). Die cut a piece of white and patterned paper with a stitched rectangle die, mount each onto chocolate cardstock and trim both close to the die cut edge.  Add the patterned paper rectangle directly to the card front on an angle.

4). Ink the group of hearts image from the SNSS Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set with archival black ink, stamp onto the white die cut rectangle and color with a flamingo water-based marker.

5). Heat emboss the giraffe image from SNSS Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set  with black embossing powder onto white cardstock and color the image with water-based markers.  Add white highlights to the eyes with the Sharpie Extra Fine White Paint Pen.  Fussy cut the giraffe and adhere to the white die cut rectangle.

6). Mount the fussy-cut SNSS Stand Tall giraffe image panel onto the card with dimensional foam.

7). Heat emboss the sentiment from the SNSS Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set with white embossing powder onto chocolate cardstock, hand cut the banner and mount onto the card front.

8). Die cut the hearts using the SNSS Pick Me Up Dies- a small and large heart from flamingo cardstock and a large heart from chocolate cardstock.  Add to the card front to finish off the card.

This was a fun card to create!  Thanks again for taking the time to visit!  Hugs and I hope you have a fabulous week, sweet friends!

Stand Tall Valentine!

Hi Sweet & Sassy Friends! I am so excited to be back on the Design Team with all of the talented designers.   Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has their brand new release of several new stamp sets to the SNSS line and the Creative Worship line.  Be sure to check out our Face Book Page to see all the new sets which are available for pre-order NOW!!

On today's card, I used two of the new sets. I just love this adorable Giraffe, as it reminds me of my son when he was a toddler. His favorite toy was a stuffed giraffe. This set is called Stand Tall. I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the images with my Chameleon Markers.

I have some of my favorite papers from Basic Grey called Out of Print in my stash, and I thought it would go well with the giraffe. I adhered the white cardstock to the patterned paper and used red cardstock as my base. In the upper corner, I stamped the NEW Lynzee Script  Alpha stamp"V" in red ink and matted in red and black cardstock, that I punched out with a 1 3/8" circle punch and a scallop punch. Using black and white gingham ribbon, I created two streamers and mounted them using pop dots from the base of the "V" circle.

This set is so fun and will make adorable Valentine's, however, it offers great versatility for cards of encouragement, love and friendship.
