Sending Love & Prayers

 Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!
It's Ceal, here. Today I am sharing a card using a set that was released this past friday and is a must have for your crafty stash. It is great for cardmaking, scrapbooking and bible journaling AND you can save 10% on it through Friday.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a panel of white heavystock distress. I used Salvaged Patina and Uncharted Mariner for the background.
I stamped the sentiment image from the new set and then added the hearts and the other paper plane from to other sets.

Lots of Love

I confess, I am really enjoying the anything goes theme for the month of December in the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps VIP Group on Facebook.  I am pulling out sets I haven't used in a while and having a blast.

I recently pulled the Lots of Love set out to use one of the sentiments on a different card. The sentiment didn't work out so I left the set on my desk. Then, I saw a sketch challenge and an idea was formed into this card.

I started this card by placing the Bitty Heart stencil over a piece of white cardstock and inking up with Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink. I die cut the panel, matted it with Bashful Blue and placed on a white card base.

I stamped the sentiments and images from Lots of Love and Happy Mail with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. I colored the images with Prima watercolors(#'s 15, 86, 87, 91, 93, 121 and 128) and fussy cut out. I arranged the images and glued them down with Bearly Art craft glue, popping the dog and sentiment strip up with foam tape.

I just love this sweet set!

Happy Mail

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Friends!
It's Ceal, here to share with you today. The next time I post on the company blog will be after Valentines so I decided to share a couple more valentines cards.
To create these I started with some Kraft card bases and white panels. I used the Happy Mail set that was our Stamp of the Month for January.
The first card I stamped the envelopes, colored them and then masked them off and stamped the text from the Texture Tiles 1 set over them. To finish the card I added the sentiment from the Love Wordfetti set.

The second card I stamped the mailbox also from the Happy Mail set, colored it, masked it off and created some clouds. the greeting is also from the Love Wordfetti set.

Sending Snail Mail

Hello Sweet Friends!  Sheri here today with a card featuring the super sweet Happy Mail stamp set. This set is the January 2021 Stamp of the Month and is FREE with any $60 order.

I created a Tall & Skinny card and flipped it on it's side. The card measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" which will still fit perfectly in an A2 sized envelope. No extra postage unless you add dimension like I did using foam squares.  You can definitely glue the images directly to the card panel.

To add a little interest I first stamped a focal point from the Background Builders: Stripes stamp set before building my little scene. The images from Happy Mail are then stamped with alcohol friendly ink, olored with copic markers, and fussy cut out.

Card Measurements:
Card Base: 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" (5 1/2" x 7", scored at 3 1/2")
White Layer: 5 1/4" x 3 1/4"
Red Layer: 5 1/4" x 2"
White Layer (Stamped): 4 3/4" x 2 3/4"

snail mail

Good morning! Today I am sharing a few CAS projects using the new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps set called Happy Mail. On my first card, I also used the ever popular Nature Silhouettes. Since I kept the images to a minimum, I chose to offset my panels to give it a little interest. I drew the tiny heart with a marker and a simple bow in the corner completed the card.

For my second CAS card, I also combined the Happy Mail set with Bold Birthdays and Birthday Wordfetti. The cute little snail is a little late to the party!

I gave him a sparkly little snail trail.

The last card is super clean & simple. I simply masked the snail and added a few envelopes for him to carry.

And I gave him another snail trail.

Have a great day!
Diane

Sweet Valentines Using Old and New

 Hello!

I have a couple of Valentines to share with you today, both of which are a mash up of old and new Sweet n Sassy Stamps Stamp Sets.

This card is so easy; just 3 little stamps and done!  I stamped the airplane from the new Going Postal Stamp Set.  The 'old' is the wonderful heart 'jet stream', which is actually the steam from the Tea for Two Stamp Set.  I love this double duty for these hearts!  The sentiment is perfect for this combination of images and is from the Happy Mail Stamp Set.  And that's it!  No coloring, masking or anything time comsuming.  I added three die cut clouds and some patterned paper.

Card number two also uses the Happy Mail Stamp Set~

I stamped two of the envelopes from the set multiple times and connected them with dashes.  At the end of the trail is the adorable hot dog from the Lots of Love Stamp Set, another 'oldie but goodie'.  The images were stamped on watercolor paper and colored in with Daniel Smith Watercolors.  The sentiment, from the Love Wordfetti Stamp Set, connects everything together.

What do you have in your stash that you can mash together?  For Valentine's cards, these sets can't be beat!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week!
