Spring Lamb

 

Hello friend, Esther here today with this sweet little square card that features the Stamp-of-the-Month, Spotted.
I stamped the little lamb from Sweet Little Lamb  in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink  and colored it with my Arteza Real Brush Pens. Next I stamped the Grunge Stripe Background in Yeti Ink (Lawn Fawn) on a piece of purple cardstock and added some grunge using a stamp from Texture Tiles 1. I die cut a circle using circle dies from Spellbinders and layered it on a black doily cut with the Doily Die from Sizzix. The sentiment is from the Script Sentiments stamp set.

My Happy Place

 Happy Saturday everyone! I'm sharing this clean and simple Valentine's Day card with you today.

 

I began by cutting a white cardstock panel with a stitched edge rectangle die. I stamped the banner from Happy Camper across the top with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and the small hearts from Sweet Little Lamb in red along the bottom. Then, I stamped the camper (Happy Camper) on white and the sentiment from Love Wordfetti on pink.  I colored the banner and camper with Arteza Real Brush Pens and fussy cut the camper. I assemble as seen, cutting banner ends on the sentiment strips.

Blessings are found where you seek them

These days it can be hard to find the blessings, but I think it's important to keep looking for them. So I made this little card as a reminder.

I stamped a background with the little hearts from Texture Tiles 5. I stamped the heart from Sweet Little Lamb with the same ink and cut it out. After that I colored the image with that ink too. I stamped the message from Blessings in Disguise with black ink.
I masked the bottom and top of my card to make the light pink part of my card and colored the middle with Distress ink. To finish the card I added a couple of clear sequins.

Friends are a blessing

Hello everyone,
today I want to share this cute little lamb card with you. These lambs look so sweet!

I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it with watercolor markers and a water brush. I die cut the rectangle frame but the white background was a bit distracting. At first I thought I would add a bit of grass and a blue sky but I had this stencil with little hearts that I wanted to use too. So I decided to mask the images and to make a blue background with Distress Oxide ink. After that I added the hearts with the stencil (you could use one of the texture tiles for this too). I distressed the borders of the frame and decided to add the message on another rectangle frame.

After all the elements were done, all I had to do was to pick a nice patterned paper for the background and finish the card with some enamel dots.

Sweet Little Lamb

Hi Friends! Whew, what a week this has been...Thank Goodness it is Friday! Right?!

Today I have some projects using the new stamp set called Sweet Little Lamb, It is absolutely adorable!! It has so many extra images and sentiments that it really is super versatile. (Note: There are affiliate links in the post - no cost to you!)

My first project is a peek-a-boo type card. The image is actually on the inside popped up on foam tape through a window on the outside.


Here is the inside:


I colored the lamb with Copics and went pretty simple with the rest of the card so it could shine. I did find some designer paper for the inside that has been in my stash longer than I care to admit - that is a win in itself haha!

My second project is a mixed media ATC Coin.

I colored the three flowers with Copics and fussy cut them out. I used acrylic inks to put down a base then inked over a couple of stencils for some texture and the new stamp set called Psalm 23 Background for the pop of white in the background (I used white acrylic an lightly brushed it on my stamp.) I finished with two sentiments from Faith Wordfetti.

I had so much fun creating these projects! I hope you are inspired to get crafty - it is fun to see how many different ways you can use a stamp set. I can't wait to try some more - maybe I will work on an art journal page next!

Sweet Little Lamb: Baby Cards

Hello Sweet Friends!  Sheri here today with two baby cards featuring the adorable NEW Sweet Little Lamb stamp set.

I wanted to keep the sweet little lamb the star of the card so I stamped them in copic friendly ink and then used copics to color. I then used some pattern papers and embellished with ribbon.

Tip: 
Create your own fun Faux Enamel Embellishments by adding Glossy Accents to any Die Cut or Punched shape to coordinate with your project!

Good morning! Today I have two projects to share. I used Sweet Little Lamb, Loop da Loop Alpha and the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps March Stamp of the Month: Blessings in Disguise. First I made a Faithdex card using one of the lambs.

Since my alpha was large and I didn't know where my letters would land, I first masked the top of the lamb. Only a small portion of the letter f ended up needing to be masked!

The sun was a pre-printed die-cut prompt from the Gifts & More section of the SNSS Store.

While I had that awesome Loop da Loop Alpha out, I decided to also make a card. I used my MISTI to stamp the letters onto some patterned paper, then added some stamped and fussy cut leaves. This is a 3 1/2 x 6 1/4 card which fits into a regular #6 3/4 envelope. Sometimes it's nice to make a different size and we mostly all have this size envelope handy!

Rainbows and Babies

Hello, Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!

It's Ceal, here to share a couple cards featuring one of our March releases, Sweet Little Lamb. 

This set is so versatile and to show you that I created two completely different cards with the same set.  I m playing along with the 30 day coloring challenge, so both of these are for Day 16.

To create the first card I started with a white top folding card base, a panel of rainbow patterned paper by Lawn Fawn and a white panel cut with a stitched die. 

I stamped the flowers from the Sweet Little Lamb with a Copic friendly ink and then colored them using rainbow colors. 

The greeting is from the Sentimental Wordfetti set.

To create the second card I also started with a top folding white card base, a blue panel and a white panel cut with a stitched die.

 I stamped the Lamb from the Sweet Little Lamb with Copic friendly ink and colored him using Copic markers. The greeting "sweet baby" is from that same set but the "hello" is from the Sentimental Wordfetti set.

Springtime Cards

Hello friends, Esther here sharing some spring themed cards I created with the NEW stamp sets for March! This first one features the "Sweet Little Lamb" set. I couldn't resist adding some hearts from the set to my tree, and those tiny little flowers to the vines along my fence.

My second card uses "Blessing in Disguise" (my new favorite stamp set!), Psalm 23 Background, and Grace So Amazing.

For this card I stamped and embossed four coneflowers. After coloring them, I fussy cut them, and trimmed the leaves off.  I cut between the petals and glued one on top of the other to form two 3D flower heads. I then punched a bunch of tiny suns, scrunched them up, and hot glued them to my flowers (If you like to see a photo of the process you're welcome to visit this post on my personal blog.)

Sweet Baby Cards

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends! Today I'm sharing two sweet baby cards I made with the darling new set Sweet Little Lamb.  For both cards, I used the smaller images in the set and a technique called popping pastels to create the colored panels. If you are unfamiliar with popping pastels, all you need to do is stamp images with versamark ink onto white cardstock then rub chalk pastels over the top using cotton balls (rub the cotton ball onto the chalk then on the cardstock). The images you stamped will magically pop darker than the rest of the cardstock. I love this oldie, but goodie technique!

For my first card, I used our very own Julee Tilman's Mojo Monday 532 sketch.  I stamped the lamb on canson xl mixed media paper with versafine clair nocturne ink, colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens (ginger, rouge pink, ash black, smoke gray, wisteria purple) and fussy cut out. I stamped the words using the same ink onto white cardstock, cut with a circle die and stamped the small hearts with purple ink. I embossed the white panel with a dot embossing folder. Then, I attached the purple panel to the white panel, positioned ribbon and attached to the back then adhered the panel to the purple card base. Next, I positioned and popped up the sentiment and lamb with foam tape. As the final step, I tied a small piece of of ribbon towards the top of the card.

For my second card, I used the same paper and ink. I colored the image with Aretza Real Brush Pens (ginger, rouge pink, ash black, smoke gray) and cut with a circle die. I stamped the words, then adhered the heart panel, gray and pink pieces to the gray cardstock base. Finally, I popped up the lamb with foam tape.

sweet little lamb

Good morning! Today I have two cards to share with a super cute new stamp set from this month’s release at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. I used Sweet Little Lamb and Loop da Loop Alpha to make my cards. My first card is a Corner Flip Card. I don't know who originally designed this but here's a video showing how to make one. I used one of the lambs on the outside and popped up his head with foam dimensionals. The flowers and butterflies on the front were paper-pieced.

On the inside I used the other lamb and colored the images.

I had a leftover triangle of the blue patterned paper from the first card so I added it to my second one and stamped a simple sentiment! I didn't use any sweet lambs here...I just let the flowers take center stage.
