big cups

Good morning! I hope you are having a good start to the new year! Today I am sharing two projects using the new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps set called I Like Big Cups. It's a fun and very versatile set for all your coffee/tea/cocoa lovers!

This past year I sadly fell short in making Christmas cards. I always start in January and hope to make some each month but usually let it drop at some point until later in the year. I'm hoping to stick with it better this year! To get started, I paired a sentiment from Christmas Gnomes with the big to-go cup (paper-pieced of course!). The cup cards are perfect to include a gift card for a local coffee or donut shop.

My second card was made with a simple fold to tuck one of those gift cards into. I scored a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of cardstock @ 3 1/2 and 7 3/4. Then I trimmed a little off and punched the edge to get the size of pocket I wanted. And yes, I paper pieced another cup...my fave technique! Here I used another new set for the sentiment, Coffee Talk 2.

The sides of the pocket could be adhered with glue or double sided tape but I simply used two tiny staples.

Have a great day!
Diane

Gnomies for Christmas

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal here, and I am sharing a few cards I created using the Gnome sets. Winter Gnomes and Christmas Gnomes

To make these cards I stared with white card bases and some patterned paper from Echo Park. I stamped and colored each image with Copic markers, cut them out with rectangle dies and then added some patterned paper. I have been challenging myself to use more patterned paper, I have so much and I never use it. I think it worked well with both os these stamp sets.

This one uses the Christmas Gnomes set.

Christmas Gnomes

Good morning! Today I have two cards to share using a Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps set from last month's release called Christmas Gnomes. This set pairs perfectly with the Winter Gnomes in this month's release!

For my first card, I had some fun with die-cutting circles and layering them with a banner flag. How cute is the gnome decorating the tree?

I used the same paper pad for my second card, along with a favorite sketch. The patterned paper strips are 1 x 3 and 1 x 4 1/4... a great way to use up scraps!

Have a great Thursday!
Diane

Christmas Cards

Hello everyone, Esther here with two Christmas cards featuring BRAND NEW holiday stamp sets from Sweet n Sassy Stamps!

For this first card I went with the traditional red and green. I did some simple stamping and die cut it with doily dies. To add a bit of texture I embossed the flowers before gluing them together. I'm not sure if you can tell by the picture, but two of those flowers have snowflakes behind them -- just to add interest and dimension!

Holiday Greetings

I'm showcasing a fun card with an easy layout today. I love the cute gnomes in the brand new Christmas Gnomes set! They pair well with the Christmas sentiments in the September Stamp of the Month, Holiday Greetings

For my layout today, I am using a previous sketch from Freshly Made Sketches (FMS451). I started by picking out my pattern paper from my stash (wonderful winter from My Mind's Eye). I stamped the gnomes and presents (from Happy Camper) on canson mixed media with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. I colored them with Shuttle Art markers and fussy cut out. I cut a Kraft panel with a stitched rectangle die, adhered to a Kraft base and attached two strips of pattern paper. I stamped the sentiment with purely pomegranate ink (SU!) on the same cardstock and hand trimmed a banner end. I attached the adorable gnome and presents and added a little bit of Wink of Stella to the gnome to match the glitter on the pattern paper. There you have it, easy peasy and just my style!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day,

Karen
