Today I am sharing a card using the new Truth Quotes 1 stamp set, along with flowers from Bloom & Grow and butterflies from New Beginnings.

 

The flowers were stamped all over the background and then the same ink was used with a stencil on 2 corners.  The butterflies are shimmery with some Wink of Stella added to the wings.

Friday Feature: Bloom & Grow

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!  Welcome to this week's Friday Feature.  The samples we have to share with you today are just gorgeous.  Here is Bloom & Grow by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!

There are so many ways to use the beautiful flowers and sentiments in this wonderful stamp set…just take a look:

Ceal created a watercolored background for her stamped flower.  The color of the flower pops against the soft texture, stenciling, and gold splatters on this beautiful card!

The flowers on this beautiful sample were stamped, fussy cut, layered, and sculpted with a stylus.  Only the leaves from the stems were used to peek out from behind the flowers.

2014 Year in Review - Day 10: Bloom & Grow

Hello SNSS friends!  Welcome to Day 10 of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Year in Review!

Today's feature is:

Bloom & Grow

Here is a beautiful new Bloom & Grow sample made by Jessica:

The colors and papers Jessica used on her card give it a warm country feel.  I love how the pieces of the flowers in the Bloom & Grow stamp set are each separate stamps so it is very easy to build your flowers using different colors.  The addition of the doily, stitching, and the Scalloped Border add charm to Jessica's pretty card!

Here are other Design Team samples created throughout this past year:

Monika has a wonderful way of combining elements on her gorgeous card creations!  The flowers from the Bloom & Grow stamp set frame the sentiment beautifully!  A Lacey Eyelet Border, some loopy thread, and a scattering of gem stones were used to finish her card.

Janette's use of soft color, texture, and sparkle are just elegant!  The Delightfully Delicate Background was used on a panel under the softly sponged flower image and sentiment from the Bloom & Grow stamp set!

Layers of lace and doilies help to ground these gorgeous flowers from Bloom & Grow on Giovana's striking card.  Love how she curved the petals on the flowers to look so life-like!

Kim added texture paste through a checkerboard stencil to add texture and interest to her background.  The flower images from Bloom & Grow were over stamped several times in different hues to create depth.  Simply beautiful, Kim!

Lee Ann used some hexagons from the Shape Up stamp set featured earlier in the month as a background for her pretty flower from Bloom & Grow.  A strip of Delightfully Delicate Background, a Scallop Border, and a sentiment from the God is Bigger stamp set were used to finish her clean and layered card.

Stenciled Bloom

Hi there and thanks for stopping by. It's Ceal here to share a card I made for our release hop using the new release Bloom & Grow. This is such a beautiful set that can be used in so many ways. I love the way you can make it look watercolored. For my card I used a stencil along with some Pan Pastels and stamped the image right on top. 

CAS CONCEPT.........

Good Morning Friends!

How are you today?  It's a BEAUTIFUL Saturday here in PA!  The sun is shining and most of all?  It's NOT snowing!  Haha!  So glad you could stop by and check out my creation!

Ok..... so, I have been trying for some time now to work on my CAS technique or at least the concept of less is more.  Not only do we all want a beautiful "finished" project, but, we don't always have a lot of time to create that project in.  Right?  That being said, here is what I came up with, with that concept in mind!

What do you think?  I used two of our NEW clear stamp sets; Bloom & Grow and Inspirational Word Art I.  I have to tell you, these sets are absolutely AWESOME for CAS and creating something beautiful!  Both are so easy to create with and the possibilities are endless!  All I did was cut down my GP White cardstock to a 5x5 square base, add some flowers with my Colorbox inks, then I finished it off by stamping my sentiment onto a white scrap with Artichoke Colorbox Ink and adding some We R Memory Keepers olive colored washi tape.  I don't know about you, but, I seem to be stuck on the "tape" lately!

Mid Winter Shape Up

Hello Everyone!
 We have made it half way through February and I have to believe that spring is right around the corner!  That said, these cold winter days do make good crafting days!
I have 3 cards to share with you today~

I used the very versatile Shape Up Stamp Set for this masculine and very mailable birthday card.  The shape was stamped in a repeating pattern to create my background.  The sentiment panel uses a technique I do not use enough- stamping a sentiment over an image. I used a stamp from the Serene Silhouettes Stamp Set and using kraft ink, stamped off once and then stamped onto my card stock.  I added the sentiment and drew a line around the panel with a fine tip marker.  I have been hoarding this ribbon for quite some time, but this seemed the perfect card to use it on. 

This next card uses another image from Shape Up and also uses its coordinating die.

I also used the  Bloom and Grow set as well as the Delightfully Delicate Background.  I stamped my three hexagons and die cut them out.  The flower was stamped and fussy cut out and I used the Small Leaves Die for the leaves (well, I guess that was obvious!).  My background panel was stamped in red on kraft card stock using the Delightfully Delicate Background image.  I added a decorative edge using the Scalloped Border Dies.

Lastly, I have a cheery card made with the Keep in Touch Stamp Set~

Washi tape is the main ingredient on this card.  I added diagonal strips of 4 different tapes to a panel of white cs and popped it up on dimensionals.  The rest of the background is dry embossed.  I curved the sentiment stamp to be able to stamp it around the inside edge of my circle.  The phone was die cut out with its matching die and popped up on dimensionals.

today is the beginning...

Happy Saturday, friends!  I have another sample today with stamps from the February release.  Here's some flowers from Bloom & Grow and a sentiment from Inspirational Word Art 1.

I don't know about you, but I'm ready for Spring!  ;)  I am longing for pretty flowers and warm, sunny days!

Love blooms

Good morning!

I'm so excited to join you today and share a card that I made using two of our new February release stamp sets - one of which coordinates with an already release die set!  

The sentiment is from the new Bloom & Grow stamp set (which is lovely!!) and the petals were cut from one of the Shape Up dies.  As you can see, I choose a variety of papers to cut from - some patterned, some white, and some solid yellow.  I embossed a couple and then stamped a few with the new coordinating stamp set called Shape Up. 

 I LOVE this new Shape Up stamp set and had lots of fun playing with the shapes for my cards that you'll be seeing soon!
