Florals on a Wintry Cold Day
Hello, Hello!
I have some florals to share with you today.
The new Floral Background Stamp is super versatile- use it on your whole background and highlight a sentiment, or use in smaller doses, as I have done with this coffee card.
I started with the I Like Big Cups Stamp Set and Stamped the To Go Cup on Neenah Solar White cs. I then stamped the Floral Background Stamp over the cup, giving it a floral pattern. The image was then colored with Copics. The lid was stamped twice, the second lid being popped up on dimensional tape. I added a corrugated cup cozy to finish the cup. I cut strips in red, yellow and navy and then did some tone on tone stamping on each strip using the Texture Tiles 1 Stamp Set. The sentiment from the Punny Love Stamp Set is perfect with this set. The little hearts are also from the Punny Love Set.
Here is the same Floral Background Stamp, this time being used for the entire background panel.
The background was stamped multiple times using my MISTI to cover the panel. Then background was then colored with a 'C' Copic marker. The flowers were colored a very pale peachy red color. I added a sequin to every flower center. The sentiment, Praise the Lord, is from the Faith Phrases Stamp Set. I heat embossed it in Pewter embossing Powder. A die cut wreath and more sequins finish the card.
This last card uses one of my favorite florals that I really don't use enough. Especially with all of the sentiments it comes with.
I used Arches Watercolor paper and Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp this gorgeous image. I then used some Jane Davenport Watercolor Brush Pens that I found on clearance at Micheal's. $5- what a steal! This was the perfect time to practice watercoloring 'loosely'. Loosely is not in my vocab when it comes to crafting. This was my best shot at it. It ended up being not so loose.
I fussy cut the image out and then found a panel in my stash that I had made with acrylic paints. The colors were perfect with the image. Some texture was added to another panel using an embossing folder. Finally some gouache spatters and sequins finish the card.
I hope I took you away to warmer days for a few minutes and also inspired you to craft!
Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed rest of the week!

Punny cards
Hello everyone! A little throwback to one of the 'older' sets from this year. I love all the punny sentiments in this one and they work great on cards.
I stamped the images on marker paper and colored them with alcohol markers. After that I stamped the sentiments and I used a die cut to cut out the tags. I added a little ribbon on the top of the tags and searched for some matching background papers. I added a couple of pearl drops to finish the cards.

I used the stamp set Punny Love for these cards.

Punny Valentines | Julee Tilman
When Korin showed us the artwork for this adorable set, I just knew I had to have it. My boys are totally crazy for waffles, ramen, and puns, so I started out with the I love you a waffle lot image. I colored the waffle with Copics and then picked some papers from my stash to match. Then I did a teeny bit of surgery on my stamp to detach the waffle from the sentiment. I stamped one waffle on the designer paper, then masked it and continued stamping down the column. The punny image and sentiment are cut with a circle die to finish off this simple valentine.
Next I worked on a Valentine for my hubby. We have a long standing battle over what happens to the person who doesn't pull a new stick of butter from the freezer when they use up the butter in the fridge. So I thought the you're my butter half pun would be perfect for a card for him. I used some rounded rectangle dies to cut the image and designer paper to play on the shape of a butter stick. Classy and not too frilly, I think this will be a perfect manly valentine to give my sweetie.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I have four more punny valentines using this set over on my blog today, so hop over there for more inspiration.

A little LOVE
This next set features our Stamp of the month set called Filigree Hearts. First I stamped some of the hearts onto mix media paper with versafine ink and heat embossed with white ink then I did the smooshing technique with some distressed oxide inks and splattered with some water. I mounted design onto black cardstock and sewed around the edges. Remember this set is FREE with a $75 purchase!

Pizza & Bacon
This card isn't so hard to make. I stamped the image on marker paper and colored it with a few red and cream colored markers. I used a die cut to make the tag and added a light grey distressed border to it. After that all I had to do was to pick a nice patterned paper for the background and a couple of items to add to the card.
I hope you're inspired to create something today!

Punny Love
I found some mini envelopes (4.125"x 2.75") and created little Valentines - I am working on a "class set". I used the little hearts from the set and with versamark, created tone on tone decoration for the envelopes.
While I was making minis, I made some fun little lunchbox cards. Don't you think kiddos will get a kick out of getting these in their lunch boxes!?
I also thought some of these sentiments could be used for encouragement for kids so I made a simple card using the "egg-stra special" image.
These are all quick and easy and so much fun you will want to stamp them all!
I hope you are inspired today! Thanks for stopping by!!
