Autumn ATC's

Hello stamping friends. Esther here today sharing something a little different.... autumn themed ATC's using one of my all-time favorite Sweet n Sassy sets called Fur-ever friends. Aren't those critters just adorable?!
I stamped my images on watercolor paper and colored them with Arteza Real Brush Pens. After layering them on my patterned paper backgrounds, I added some baker's twine bows for extra dimension.

Pastor Appreciation

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!
It's Ceal here. Today I am sharing a couple cards I created for pastor appreciation next month.  I love doing fall cards letting my pastors now how much I am thankful for and appreciate them.

To create these cards I started with a white card base, some patterned paper and a white panel.
For the first card I stamped the Vintage Van on some Bristol and watercolored it using Karin markers. the sentiment is from the So Thankful set.

The second card I stamped the pumpkin from the Incredibly Blessed set, colored it using Copic markers. The sentiment is from that same set.

Singing Praises

Happy Monday, Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal here to share with you today a couple cards using the Singing Praises set with two different looks.

The first card I stamped the image with embossing ink and watercolored it with Zig watercolor markers. I stamped the Wood slice from the Wood Backgrounds set as the background. The greeting is from the Thoughtful Words set.

The second card uses the same set Singing Praises but this time I created a fall card with it. I stamped the bird and masked off the branch and then stamped the leaves from the Give Thanks set. I colored them all with Copic markers. The greeting is from the Incredibly Blessed set.

incredibly blessed

Good morning! September snuck up so quick...where did summer go? Today I still have two more cards to share using Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the August Release.

Here I used Incredibly Blessed to get started on some fun fall cards. The first one has some cute paper-pieced pumpkins. I stamped the middle one and masked it before stamping the other two.

The second card is CAS with a few falling leaves and acorns.

We had SO much rain this year...record amounts...that it seems like we didn't have summer. But I do love autumn and am anxious for the cool fall weather!

Have a great day!
Diane

I love Fall!

Hello friends, I have 2 cards for you today using our newest releases.  Fall will soon be upon us, can't you just smell that Pumpkin Pie Spice?  I can!
For my first card today I am using Incredibly Blessed by Rebecca Rios, I colored it up with my watercolors and the design paper is from Jen Hadfield.
This next card is using this adorable scarecrow from the set Happy Scarecrow also by Rebecca Rios.  I am in love with this guy, doesn't he just make you smile?  So fun to color too!  I colored him up with copic markers and the design paper is from my scrap bin.  The little piece of chipboard I have had in my stash for years and it has finally found a home.   You still have time to get our stamp of the month set called Give Thanks free with a $75 purchase (after discounts and before tax).
Happy Stamping!

Incredibly Blessed

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers
It's Ceal, here to share a non traditional fall card with you today.
To create my card I used the Incredibly Blessed set along with the All About You for the greeting.

To create my card I started with a white top folding note card along with a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I created the background with a piece of cheese cloth and  Carved Pumpkin distress Oxide ink. I stamped the pumpkin image and then again on a scrap piece of paper, colored it using Copic Markers and then adhered it on to of the image I stamped. To finish the card and add texture I paced a small piece of the cheese cloth I had used for the background underneath the pumpkin.

I {Heart} Distress Oxides

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal here to share with you today something I love to do and that's use distress oxide inks to make backgrounds.

To create my card I started with a Kraft card base and a piece of Bristol cut down with a stitched die. I find that distress inks, weather they are regular or normal blend so much better when you use bristol cardstock opposed to regular cardstock.  For the background I randomly blended a little Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed and Crushed olive on the paper then I smushed each color on the craft sheet and sprayed with water, and lightly touched a portion of the bristol paper on the wet ink (this gives you the splattered look) and dried it with a heat tool after each time until I achieved a look I was happy with. Next using the MISTI I stamped the leaves from the Give Thanks set which is the Stamp of the Month and can be earned free when placing a $75 order or more. The greeting is from the Incredibly Blessed set which are both in our August release.
Distress Oxides are opaque and I love that quality because not only can you achieve a layer look with them you can also watercolor with them. I watercolored the leaves using Gathered Twigs and I love the outcome, the more water you use the less opaque it is as you can see in the very bottom leaf.

I also shared this card on my blog yesterday where I used the Mowed Lawn oxide to watercolor the cactus.

Thankful...

{jane bosi}  Do you ever find yourself WOWED by God??  I'm feelin' it right now.   Wanting to celebrate the new release of some super fabulous sets, I created this card.  Little did I know the reflection He was creating in my heart at the same time!!

It's not been easy in my little neck of the woods--I know this to be true for so many others, so I don't really want to get into the details too much.  So much sickness and struggle.  It would be so easy for my own little self to be bogged down with worry and overwhelmed with sadness and yet, today, I'm reflecting on how thankful I am.  THAT is directly from and for my God.  Without Him, despair would be the go to.  With Him, I have peace.  I have hope.  I am loved and that makes all the difference.

I used three new sets to make this simple, sweet card of thanks:

The Stamp of the Month set, Give Thanks will automatically be added to your purchase of $75 or more all this month!!!  How fabulous!

Other sets used include Happy Scarecrow and Incredibly Blessed.  Thank you, Father for using my sweet little creative time and goodies to remind me of your Truth.

Be Blessed, Jane
