Polka Dots and Gingham

Hello, it's Bridget here with today's blog post - I know it's a holiday for many of you and I hope it's a happy and safe day for everyone!  For today's card I went with two of my favorite design elements, polka dots and gingham, and also with a favorite color combo, red and teal!  I colored the beautiful coneflowers from the set Flowers in Bloom with copics, and added a bit of sparkle with Stickles to the butterfly, though it's hard to see in my photo.  Because people sometimes struggle with blending reds, I'll include the ones I used here, starting with the darkest - R29, R27, R24 R22, and R20.
I always think pearls play along so well with polka dots and that was my finishing touch!
The circle is cut with Nestabilities Circles and popped up.   The dp is from My Minds Eye and October Afternoon.
Have a wonderful day! Hugs, Bridget
