Hello! It's Monika here today bringing you a fun card. I wanted to make something easy with a little bit of 'messines'.
I started out with adding some blue watercolor splashes and splatters to the white base card. As you can see, I wasn't careful at all... I just went crazy with my brush. I knew most of the panel would be covered up, so I wasn't too concerned...
Next, I stamped the main image from Across the Miles clear stamp set with VersaMark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. To give some dept to the image, I sponged some ink on the panel (same color as the card stock).
Then I stamped the greetings, the compass (punched it out with a circle punch), the airplane (cut it out)... and assembled the card. To add a little bit more 'messines' to my card, I adhered white thread to the card. It was just the right embellishment along with the rhinestones.
The sketch came from The Sweet Stop, SSS218. Come and check it out and play along with us!
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your weekend,
Monika
