Poppies in Neutral

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July!  I am back from a quick trip to Indianapolis over July 4th weekend.  To any of you who are from Indy, you have a lovely city!
Do you seem to get stuck on color combos?  I sure have been lately!  I think I have finally moved on from yellow, gray, black and white and moved on to neutrals.  The nice thing about neutrals is they are a wonderful backdrop for sympathy cards, which can be so difficult to make.

I used the beautiful Precious Poppies Stamp Set  for this simple design.  They are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Prismacolor Pencils.  The sentiment is from the Sheltering Cherry Blossom Stamp Set.
I embossed the background panel and tied a simple bow with some Hemptique Hemp Cord, but otherwise, let the image and the sentiment be the focus.

Thanks so much for visiting Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps today!  I hope that I have inspired you to get inky!

Lee Ann  :)
