Hello everyone! Our second Sweet Perks Club period has ended and the bundles are no longer available, but the good news is that the new dies have now been added to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store and can be purchased separately. That means that for those of you who had previously purchased any of the stamp sets from this month, you can now purchase the coordinating dies.
This month's club selections have helped me get more Christmas cards added to my stash for this year…it won't be that long until we'll be needing to get them sent! My card for today was made with the adorable Christmas Penguins stamp set and Christmas Penguins Dies.
A little bit of modeling paste was used to create interest as well as an iceberg for the penguins which were colored with Copic Markers and cut with the matching die. I didn't have any gold card stock in my stash so gold embossing powder was used on the edges of the second panel to match the gold sentiment. Gold ribbon and some gold thread were added to finish the card. Now…how cute is that!
Sweet'n Sassy Stamps will be heading to York, Pennsylvania today to get set up for the Heirloom Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival being held at the York Expo Center. If you are in the area and will be attending the show on either Saturday, October 11th or Sunday, October 12th, here is a coupon for you to print and bring along for $5 off your $30 purchase!
Thanks so much for joining us today…enjoy the beautiful Fall weather!

Cute card! Love the texture you got with the stencil & embossing paste, and the coloring on the penguins is great. Neat idea to gold emboss your background panel to match the greeting, too. Wish the cool fall weather would get to East Texas--it's about 80 degrees out right now. Still T-shirt & shorts weather here!
Such a sweet card Cathy. Love the darling penguins, the coloring... the textured strip looks awesome.
