deepest sympathy

Good morning!  Today I am sharing a card using one of my favorite sets, Parisian Postcard, along with the Sympathy Innies.

I think if you ask any card maker what their least favorite card to make was, sympathy cards would come to mind.  But unfortunately we all need them so sometimes I like to go monochromatic for a quick and easy way to create a beautiful, yet heartfelt card.

I die cut my card base and layers, then stamped the images first and second generation (stamping off once).

Here's the coordinating inside...

I hope you don't need to make a sympathy card soon, but if you do then I hope I've given some inspiration.  If possible, I like to make them when I don't need them and keep one or two on hand.

Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!
Diane

What a beautiful sympathy card. I love the soft and serene colors, and what beautiful sentiments. And I love the shape and the lovely ribbon across the top and sponging! Beautifully made and shows heartfelt care. Hugs!

Hi Diane, this is just stunning! I am the "odd" card maker who likes making sympathy cards. Not the occasion itself, of course but from the creative perspective. First of all, I make them when I don't need them and I make a number of them. This way I can take my time and put my heart into it rather than try and come up with something elegant when I am emotional. These sentiments are some of the nicest I've seen. Again, you have done a wonderful job on yours! TFS!

Diane, this is stunning!! Love the use of the stamps with the sentiment and how you created a non-traditional shape but it still stands up :-) Love it!!
