Welcome to our May Release Hop! We're so excited about the new stamps available in the shop this month and can't wait to share the projects we've been working on with you! Read on for a few samples and a little walk through of our new release, then hop along to the blogs linked below for all sorts of papercrafting inspiration! Plus, there's a GIVEAWAY! Leave a little comment love on each stop along the way for a chance to win a $10 gift voucher to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop. Winner will be announced here on the SNSS blog, Tuesday, May 21.

Here's the official hop list. If something goes wrong along the way,
hop on back here to pick  up where you left off.

The links to the Sweet 'n Sassy shop in this post are compensated affiliate links. At no cost to you, I'll  receive a small commission on orders placed through these links. Affiliates do not see who ordered or what was ordered, but we do get to see that an order was placed through our link.  It's such a blessing as designers to know that our creative efforts are helping this company we so dearly love!

The card I'm sharing uses the new Paw-some Pals set. It's absolutely adorable and I couldn't wait to make some cards with these furry friends. When I was young our school used to send out a flyer every once in a while that had little poster prints we could order. There was this sweet little poster of three little grey kittens that I wanted sooooo much! I even cut out the little thumbnail print and taped it on my wall. After what seemed like a lifetime of my Mom saying no (but probably only about 6 months), she finally surprised me with the poster! And I think the waiting made the memory even sweeter. I try to remember that it's important to teach my boys the important lesson of waiting, and how it can make the experience so much more! Anyhow, I digress. The adorable kitties in this set reminded me of that poster, so I built my card around what I remembered of it... roses in the background, a kitty head peeking out around something, and one kitty in front with a bow. I only have two kitties on the card, because they're sending get well wishes to the third kitty!

Next up is this wedding card from our fearless leader, Korin, pairing the new Happy Couple and Marriage Scripture sets.

I love the way she stamped the verse inside. Such a beautiful card, and a bit of scripture is such a great way to wish God's blessing on a new marriage!

The next stop on the hop is my blog, Poetic Artistry, where I'm sharing a couple more cards with the new release. Before you go, here's a little look-see at the sets included in the MAY release...

First up... the April stamp of the month, Happy Day, is now available to purchase! Whimsical and cheerful, this set is so versatile. It includes lots of builder sentiments, lovely little posies, a few little accents and a darling butterfly.

Next up is the MAY stamp of the month, Peony Cluster. I can't even with this set... so much beauty in these beautiful flowers and some lovely meaningful quotes and a scripture verse to boot! This must-have set is only available during the month of MAY as a FREE gift with a $75 or more purchase.

Happy Couple  starts out the May lineup with beautiful scripted builder sentiments and timeless wedding imagery, perfect for celebrating a happy union.

And continuing on the wedding theme, Marriage Scripture is a beautiful pairing with the Happy Couple set, containing six wedding themed scriptures. These are perfect as a focal point on your card front, or as a little blessing of the Word on the inside of your card.

Paw-some Pals is the next set in our May lineup, and this set is just an adorable way to encourage a friend. Mix and match this little band of furry critters for some super sweet cards.

The Freedom in Christ set is one of the Creative Worship offerings this month. This Creative Worship set is a beautiful way to meditate on the freedom we have in Christ. But the imagery is not just for bible journaling. I've had several friends lately having mortgage payoff parties, and can envision some wonderful cards for this occasion made with this set.  And as one of our creative team members put it, it doesn't seem like a coincidence that there's a set with a cat and a set with an empty birdcage in the same release! 😉

The final set in the spotlight this month is Joint Heirs. This is another beautiful Bible journaling sentiment set, themed around the Romans 8:16-18 passage.

Here are a few journaling pages by our Creative Team using the Joint Heirs set.

Alrighty, that's our May release in a nutshell! Thanks so much for hanging out with me as I reviewed this fantastic release. May you be blessed today and always!

I would never have thought to pair the cats with the delicate paper, love it! I love the wedding card with the stencilsed panel, so eyecatching! I had to delete my previous comment because of typos. Opps!
