Today's card card is clean and simple with a mix of fun colors featuring the clear In this Together set. It is a really beautiful set and while I loved playing with the digital set, I really missed the watercolor possibilities that this set was begging for! Now I have the best of both worlds!!
This one was pretty simple to color - I used Distress Inks as my watercolor. I went with messy distress blending followed by a spritz of water then I went in with a little watered down ink to darken some of the areas that were too light. I fussy cut the flowers - which was a little tough but so worth it! I did a little ink smooshing on my base, added a sentiment using this month's Stamp of the Month Encouraging Thoughts which is F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!! There are so many sentiments and they are so wonderfully encouraging! I just love it! Finally, I added fun foam to the flowers and the base so there is lots of dimension with this one!
