Hello everyone! I used the watercolor stamping technique to create
the background on this card. It is one of my favorite techniques. I love
how it looks different every time!
For
this technique, all you need to do is ink up your stamp with several
different colors of ink or varying shades of the same ink, spritz with
water and stamp. Wipe off your stamp and repeat steps until your
background is covered. Do not blot your paper, just let it air dry. It
is so pretty once it dries and I never get tired of it. Once it was dry
and cut down to size I inked the edges with green.
The dragonfly was embossed in black on green paper and fussy cut out. I had this guy in my stash of extras and he was made before the matching dies were released.
