Hello Sweet Friends! Sheri here with a Christmas card featuring the NEW Pinecone Background stamp set from the September 2021 Release. The sentiment from the Poinsettia Greetings stamp set.

Today's card features a little heat embossing and ink blending to make this super simple card shine.

Steps to create the card:
  • Cut White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Cut light Green Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". You will stamp the Pinecone Background stamp with embossing ink and emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. I like to stamp on a larger panel than I need so I can cut it down to fit the card design.
  • Cut down Green Panel to 4" x 5 1/4". I used a stitched die.
  • Take a medium and dark shade of green ink that coordinates with the card stock and ink blend around the edges. Make sure to leave the center light. Use the darker shade at the very edge.
  • For added texture I added some gold paint splatters using gold ink.
  • Stamp and emboss sentiment from the Poinsettia Greetings stamp set on a strip of black card stock. I like to stamp sentiments on a larger piece of card stock and trim down. The final size of the strip is 2" x 3/8".
  • Assemble Card. The green panel is glued to the card base and I popped up the sentiment with foam tape.
  • For embellishment I added a few gold sequins.
