Love Card

Happy Saturday Stampers! This is Michelle from East Bay Stamp Chick with another card share.

I know it's not Valentine's anymore, but I'm still making cards that express love. I think you need these types of cards year around! So let me show you what I made.

Although I used the traditional Valentine colors of pink and red, you could really use any color combination. To make this card, I started with an A2 card base measuring 4.25x5.5 inches. The black border is a piece of cardstock measuring 4x5.25 inches. The actual card panel has some light marbling as the pattern and measures 3.75x5 inches. I took the card panel and used the new Hugs and Kisses stencil on top with a pink glitter glaze. I let that dry a couple of hours before I adhered it to the base. I stamped the row of balloons from the Birthday Borders stamp set. I then colored them with alcohol markers. Next I stamped the letters for Love You with the new Mini Bold Print Alpha stamp set. I added some black twine for the balloon strings and a bow. Pretty quick and easy!

Here's a look at what I used.

Plus, the Mini Bold Print Alpha is the stamp of the month and free with a $65 purchase! I hope you have some time to craft this weekend! Thank you for stopping by!
