Happy Saturday Stampers! This is Michelle from East Bay Stamp Chick here with another card share. Easter is over and you might say my card today looks like it is an Easter card. However, I think cards with a cross aren't just for Easter. They can be an encouragement card too. So here's what I'm talking about.
So here's how I made the card. The card base is A2 size 4.25x5.5 inches. I cut a panel out of white cardstock measuring 4x5.25 inches. I ink blended around the card with 2 light blue inks, leaving the center white. I then used the Rise and Shine stencil in the center 1st with a light purple ink then I moved it down slightly and used a light pink ink. I stamped the bird from Song Birds and colored it with alcohol markers and then die cut it. The cross was heat embossed with gold embossing powder and fussy cut out. Before adhering the images I splattered the front of my card with a few colors. Then I used foam squares to pop up both the cross and the bird. I added a few silver and gold sequins for sparkle. Pretty easy card. Let's take a look at the items I used.
