Happy Saturday Stampers! This Michelle from East Bay Stamp Chick with a quick card share for you. Let's look at the card and then I'll tell how I made it.
This card came together pretty easily. I used an A2 size card base, 4.25x5.5 inches. I used my paper trimmer to cut a yellow card panel measuring 4x5.25 inches. From my stash I used a scalloped edge die to cut a black panel that measures 3.75x5 inches. If you don't have a die, just use your paper trimmer to cut a panel. The white panel measures 3.5x4.75 inches. On the white panel I stamped the stripes in 2 directions from the Background Builder Stripes stamp set. The sentiment is from the new Special Blooms stamp set. The flower is from the same set. I stamped the flower separately, used the matching die to cut it out and then colored it with alcohol ink markers. The white and the black panels are glued together and then I added foam squares to the back. The yellow panel is glued to the card base. Then I used the foam squares to pop up the next panel. I added a few jewels and sequins and it's done!
Let's take a look at the stamp sets I used.
This card is so quick and easy, it would be fun to make it in several different color combos. I hope this weekend you have time to get crafty! Don't forget to check out the new release from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! Thanks for stopping by!
