Tuesday Tip: Gel Plate Background

Tuesday Tip:

Esther's tip is for adding a stamped design to gel plate print.

To create her backgrounds for these cards she inked up her gel plate with distress oxides and then pressed her background stamp into it before lifting the print. 
You can mist the stamp with water and press it into a clean sheet of paper to get a second print. 

Esther added some texture with white gesso and a script stencil before tearing her prints into strips to create backgrounds for these clean-and-simple cards.
