Birthday Animals

Hello everyone! Today I want to share this cute birthday card with you. I combined two animals from different stamp sets but they look so sweet together that you wouldn't even know that they're from different sets.

I started stamping my scene on watercolor paper. I die cut the clouds on the top of my paper to see how high I could stamp the bunny. I started with the deer and masked him off to stamp the bunny. After that I masked the bunny too so that I could stamp the tree underneath him. You want to stamp the images you want to be on front first so that the other images can go 'behind' it. When I stamped the scene I stamped the sentiment and I could start coloring the images. I used watercolors to color the images and to finish my card I added it to a kraft colored card.

For this card I used the folowing stamp sets:

Fly High, Dream Big

Hello everyone! Today I want to show you a card I made with the 'fly high' stamp set.

The images are so cute and they're great for a one layer card. So I started this card on watercolor paper, stamped the elephant and his balloon and started coloring. I used watercolor markers and a anwaterbrush to color the images. I couldn't resist to add some of the beautiful words from the stamp set so I decided to go for 'fly high, dream big'. There are a lot of great words in this set so you can make a lot of different combinations.

Birthday Wishes

I always have a harder time coming up with boy birthday cards and this set Fly High is perfect for boy cards.  I colored with watercolors and then paper pieced the balloons with random scraps.  I decided to switch up my white stitching for black for a change.

celebrate big

Good morning!

Today I am sharing a card using the Fly High stamp set from this month's release.

I decided to make a tall card with the balloons flying up and then I thought I'd add the elephant hanging off the bottom. The balloons were paper pieced and I added Crystal Effects to make them shiny.

This card measures 3 1/2 x 6 1/4 (start with 7 x 6 1/4) and fits into a regular No. 8 envelope.  Most of us have those lying around to pay an occasional bill so why not use them to make a different size card?

Have a great day!
