September brings the holidays here in stamp land, and boy do we have an awesome release to share with you this month!  Read on for a bit of inspiration and a little walk through of this month's fabulous new holiday goodies, then hop along to the blogs linked below to get inspired!

Plus, there's a GIVEAWAY! Leave a little shout out in the comment section on each stop along the way for a chance to win a $10 gift voucher to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop. Winner will be announced here on the SNSS blog, Wednesday, September 23.

Here's the official hop list. If a link misbehaves along the way,
hop on back here to pick  up where you left off.

I love the title sentiment from Best Gift Ever and decided to make it the focus of my card.  I used a stencil to make a snowflake backgruond in cracked pistachio ink on a piece of white cardstock.  I then used rectangle dies to cut both the sentiment panel and a mat.  The sentiment is stamped in Navy, then I layered the two panels on dimensional tape.  A couple of coordinating patterned papers and a seam binding bow finish off this quick and easy Christmas card.

Andrea pairs the Scene Silhouettes: Jesus is Born set with Playful Alpha for this fabulous journal page.

Guest designer Michelle Hale creates this elegant Christmas card pairing the new Christmas Text Background with O Holy Night.

Deeds pairs the new I Am set with our True Beauty set on this lovely page.

Guest designer Michelle Hale created this fabulous card featuring our Stamp of the Month, Holiday Greetings. Her fabulous background is done with the Folk Art Snowflakes set, and that joyful snowman is from Snow Much Fun.

Okay, the next stop on the hop is my blog, Poetic Artistry, with another creation from me!

Here's a little look-see at the sets included in the September release...

First up is the September stamp of the month, Holiday Greetings. This set is available for purchase for $15.95, OR you can get it as a FREE gift with a $75 purchase (after any discounts and before shipping and tax) during the month of July! Please note you MUST add this set to your cart to receive the discount. Once your order qualifies, the discount will apply to the set in your shopping cart.

Next up is the darling Christmas Gnomes set by Jennifer Nilsson Art. These holiday gnomes make for the perfect whimsical holiday cards, and they pair well with our Stamp of the Month.

If you love sets that put Christ at the center of the season you're going to love Korin Sutherland's new Scene Silhouettes: Jesus is Born set.

Those fabulous silhouettes needed some fabulous sentiments and scripture to go with them, and so the awesome Best Gift Ever set was designed to coordinate with it or stand-alone.

If you're a vintage lover, the fun Vintage Van set from Nina Brackett is a must-have. Love the interchangeable toppers, so you can dress your van for any occasion!

We love backgrounds and this Christmas Text Background set from Korin is so much fun!

Rebecca Rios brings us a beautiful Creative Worship set this month with the lovely I Am set.

Our final set this month is the super fun handlettered Playful Alpha from Korin Sutherland.

That's our September Release in a nutshell! So many fabulous sets to choose from! What's your favorite?

May you be blessed today and always!

Best Gift Ever

I know, it's only September and we are all thinking pumpkins and apple picking right now. However, this is also the time to be thinking about making your Christmas cards too, before you run out of time. Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has an awesome new release featuring amazing Christmas sets you will want to add to your stash.

For today's card I paired the brand new Best Gift Ever sentiment set with the previously released In This Together.

I stamped the flowers from In This Together onto Canson mixed media paper with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. I colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens (red, olive green, seaweed green and sunset yellow) and hand trimmed out. I stamped the sentiment with the same black ink onto a white stitched scallop edge die cut. Next, I die cut a stitched scallop edge rectangle piece of pattern paper (wonderful winter My Mind's Eye). I assembled the pieces as seen, popping the oval and flowers up with foam tape and adding gold sequins to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and thanks for stopping by!

Joyous Holiday

Hi Sweet 'n Sassy friends! It's Julee here, stopping by to share a little inspiration with the fabulous September Stamp of the Month.  For those that know me, it's no secret that I love sentiments, and Holiday Greetings is filled with great sentiments for your holiday crafting.

I'm on a mission this year to stick to cards that easily fit in an envelope for my Christmas cards. I love how easy it is to make the sentiments from Holiday Greetings the focal point. Add a little patterned paper or mixed media background and maybe a stamped accent or two and voila! A beautiful card that was quick and easy and totally mailable!

This first card started with embossing the sentiment in gold on cream cardstock. I love that this sentiment could easily be for the inside or outside of the card!  I die cut this in a circle, adding a green mat, then picked some pattern papers to set things off.

For the accent, I pulled out the Deck the Halls set to coordinate with the holly in the patterned paper.  These holly stamps would also work well with the Holly Jolly sentiment in the Holiday Greetings set.  I stamped the leaves three times and embossed with gold, then stamped the berries in a very light ink and colored with Copic markers.  I hand trimmed, accenting the berries with glossy accents and then sprinkled on a little Vintage Platinum Glitter Dust.

My next card features a different sentiment from Holiday Greetings and a different line of paper.

The paper pad I used includes some little pieces you can cut out, so I trimmed those out by hand and then layered for a fun floral/pinecone accent.  A bit of shading with weathered wood distress ink sets off the blues in this paper and I finished with a seam binding bow behind the sentiment.

And there you have two quick cards with this fabulously versatile set.  Holiday Greetings is available to purchase, OR you can earn it for free with a $75 order in September. Just add it to your cart and the discount will automatically apply once you've qualified.
