Showers of Blessing

It's been raining here all week so my card is quite appropriate :). I made this for the Free 4 All challenge on Splitcoaststampers today which is to use opposite colors on the color wheel. I chose Violet-Red & Yellow-Green. I used the adorable Rainy Day Bethany stamp with a sentiment from Let it Rain and the papers are from We R Memory Keepers and Echo Park Paper. The layout is this week's Viva La Verve sketch.

So, I finally ordered the amazing Janome Sew Mini sewing machine and just got it a couple of days ago. Let me tell you, I LOVE this little machine. I cannot stop sewing on my cards!!! It's fabulous! Can you tell I have a problem. I think I machine stitched on every single panel on this card! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by today!! We are heading to Washington D.C. tomorrow on a homeschool bus trip. I am looking forward to a fun time with my family :).

Hugs,
Korin

Rainy Day Bethany

What do you think about the fabulous new releases? Aren't they great? I originally had a project to show you today using the Wildflowers set but I forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it away as a gift on Saturday night. Silly me, guess I will have to just make another one. So, the rainy day today reminded of this Rainy Day Bethany card I made a little while back that I have not yet shared here with you all. I went with a shabby chic look and I distressed the edges and added some white crackle paint to them also. I used the digital version of this image but it is also available as a clear stamp set.

Thanks for stopping in today! Have a wonderful day.

Rainy Day Bethany

Hello friends out in blogland!
Julie here with a SNSS card today!
Happy Wednesday, hope you are having a fabulous week so far.

I've been trying to improve my copic skills, and
I am really starting to feel a little more comfortable.
Bethany is so fun to color....she is perfect for all my practicing.
I've got plenty of her lying around all colored up right now!

Here is my card -

Recipe
Paper: Kraft, black, white, EP Little Boy dp
Ink: Memento black
Misc: copics, dimensionals

Have a great day~!
