Happy Saturday everyone! Are you excited for the weekend? I am...I'm having a friend over and our plan is to craft for the entire day!! WooHoo!! How about the beach? Anyone headed to the beach? I confess that even though we live only a few minutes away, we have yet to make it to the beach this year! So...for now I'll have to be content with collecting these beautiful sea shells from the Beauty by the Sea stamp set. :-)One of my favorite things to do with this stamp set is to create my own custom background stamp. I do that by attaching a variety of stamps to a large acrylic block and voila, I have a shell background stamp! I used Broken China Distress Ink for the background color and then simply added an oval for my sentiment and my two Copic-colored shells, which are attached with foam tape.
This is one of my favorite Sweet 'n Sassy stamp sets...have you purchased one of the newest beach sets yet?? This weekend is the perfect time to shop!! :-)
