Happy Monday to you, friends! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I had the wonderful experience of doing some make-and-takes at Heirloom's York Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps this weekend. It was so much fun meeting and talking with people who enjoy this wonderful craft...I am convinced that stampers are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! Working with Korin and her family was a blast!
Speaking of having a blast...over at The Sweet Stop, we are celebrating a "Blast From the Past" for the month of October by revisiting some of the fabulous sketches from the past. I used this week's sketch for my card today.
I just love the rich, earthy colors of fall and this gorgeous bouquet from the "Autumn Bounty" clear stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Mix those two elements with some beautiful paper from the "Forever Fall Collection" paper pad by Bo Bunny and you have a winning combination...don't you think! The fall bouquet was colored with copic markers. The doily was cut from some of the Bo Bunny paper with the Cheery Lynn English Tea Party Die which is now carried by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. The little leaves in the corner were cut with a Spellbinders foliage die. All the layers were heavily sponged with Walnut Stain distress ink. Add some ribbon and pearls colored with a copic marker and the result is a rich autumn bounty!
Thanks for visiting with us today...hope you have a chance to get out and enjoy autumn wherever you happen to be!
Hugs,
Cathy

What a pretty card! I would find those darker papers quite tricky, but you've coloured your image so beautifully, it works in perfect harmony with the papers, gorgeous!
