Hi, it's Beate again. Today's card is another sample I created for the Hope You can Cling to Challenges on Splitcoaststampers. This challenge was to incorporate pink in a masculine card.
The sentiment from Season of Change was stamped in the center of a 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" piece of white cardstock with embossing ink. The sentiment was embossed with clear ink before the entire piece was sponged with Tattered Rose, Wild Honey and Peeled Paint Distress ink. Leaves from Season of Change were stamped over it in the same colors.
The edges of the panel were distressed and stitched to a 1/4" bigger piece of brown cardstock. Three brads were added to the top left of the card.
The card base is a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Kraft cardstock folded in half. The card front was embossed with the Cuttlebug Brocade Embossing Folder and the edges were sponged with Vintage Photo distress ink. The layers were adhered to the card base with dimensionals.
Leaves were cut out of white cardstock with leaf dies matching the set. Leaves were stamped over the die cuts and the edges were sponged before both leaves were tied together with a button and Linen thread. The leaves were adhered to the lower right of the sentiment panel.
Here is a video for the visual learner:
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.
