2020 Season's Givings Blog Hop

Hello sweet friends! Happy New Year 2020! With a new year on the horizon, we are so excited about what Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has planned for 2020 and know you will be, too! We are so grateful for each of our friends and customers. We wouldn't be here without you!! For this reason, we are thrilled to be participating in the Seasons Givings Blog Hop!

This amazing blog hop is comprised of both companies and designers who are EACH saying THANKS to their readers with a giveaway on their blogs, so you DO NOT want to miss this amazing hop! We are thrilled to be a part of such a generous event!

Thank you to all of you for taking the time to visit our blog this past year! We appreciate you!

Our Seasons Givings Blog Hop gift to one lucky winner is a $35 gift code to the SNSS Shop!

Here's how you can win… just leave a comment answering the following question by 10:00pm EST on Wednesday, Tuesday, January 7th, 2019. Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps will randomly choose one lucky commenter and post the winner to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020.

Question: What type of stamp (e.g. flowers, coffee, scripture, alphas, cute critters, etc.) do you find hardest to resist?

All of the participants in the Seasons Givings Blog Hop will be offering prizes, so be sure to visit each blog on the list. You can find the links to all of the participants at the end of this post!

My card for today features a brand new set from today's new release... Grace So Amazing. This set is filled with beautiful sentiments themed around the concept of grace.

For my card I swiped some tattered rose and warm lipstick distress oxides onto an acrylic block and then smooshed onto cardstock, adding a paperweight to it to let the ink transfer for a few minutes. When it was dry, I stamped over the top with the sentiment in black ink and then die cut.  The butterfly is from the previously released Made New set. I watercolored with the same distress oxide inks and then hand trimmed.  A few layers of patterned paper with black mats and some baker's twine finish things off.

Now on to our...
January News & Happenings

It's time for some happy hellos here at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Joining our 2020 Cardmaking Team are Esther Asbury and Karen Decknick. Here's a little about these talented ladies in their own words...

Hello, my name is Esther. I'm a pastor's wife from the beautiful state of Virginia where I live with my husband, daughter, and two spoiled rotten dogs. I've been making cards since 2005, but you wouldn't want to see those first cringe-worthy attempts! I've learned a lot and collected a craft room of supplies over the years. I don't really have one definable style, but enjoy trying new techniques and experimenting with different products. I'm honored to design for Sweet n Sassy Stamps and I hope my work will inspire you to be yourself and create beauty in your own unique way!

I am a homeschooling mom and work part time outside the home. I have been creating since I was in elementary school. Over the years I have done knitting, crocheting, quilting, wood burning, cake decorating and stamping. The art of stamping captured my heart over two decades ago and is my favorite medium.

Such a beautiful card. I don't tend to have 1 item I choose over another it really depends on what it is & how I'm feeling in that time. For example, I'm going through a tough time with a family members passing. So I tend to look for Angels, sayings that remind me of them, something that gives me inspiration & motivation to craft. You have so many beautiful options I'd have to say I need 1 of each LOL Happy Crafting!! ☀️
