Merry Christmas from the Bottom of my Heart

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Friends!  Cathy here with another card in honor of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps 8th birthday party celebration!  We'll be celebrating all month long so I hope you'll continue to join in for lots of fun and prizes!

Our Throwback Feature today is:

Bottom of My Heart

I cannot take credit for the design of this card because I saw something similar on Face Book, but I knew that the Bottom of My Heart stamp set would be perfect for CASEing the idea.  See how versatile this set is…it can even be used to create a Christmas card!  The heart image was stamped repeatedly on some Gelli Plate mono prints I had made at a recent class and cut with the coordinating Heart Die.  They were arranged in the shape of a Christmas tree.  The little hearts were also cut from the same paper using the Hearts Border Die…yes those little hearts you get from this cut can be used on cards, or for confetti, or even for inside shaker cards!  One of the sentiments from Bottom of My Heart was stamped at the base of the card and helps to ground the tree.  The "Merry Christmas" sentiment is from the Christmas Puppy stamp set and was cut with one of the Banner Dies.  A bow was made from some metallic thread and added along with a few gemstones to finish the card!

I have been getting more into creating my own backgrounds

 lately and the discontinued Grundgy Border stamp set 

totally fits the bill for this.  Notice the polka dots, 

diamonds and wood designs... all part of this fun set. 

 The sentiment and the polka dot heart are included 

in the beautiful Bottom of my Heart Set.

Did I mention both stamp sets are now on sale :)

I added other sweet elements to my card including 

the butterfly and postage paid symbols.  

These are from one of our newest sets, Parisian Postcard.

I love how bright and cheerful this card turned out.

Perfect for valentine giving.

Happy Anniversary...

Hello! It's Monika here today, bringing you a fairly simple anniversary card. 

I love working with the Heart Die set, but I don't make a lot of Valentine's Day cards... luckily those sweet heart die-cuts are also perfect for anniversary or wedding cards.

I stamped the Music Background clear stamp set on the background with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I misted it with blue ink.

The butterfly is from Majestic Monarchs clear stamp set. Again, I stamped the image with VersaMark, this time on Vellum card stock, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I usually stamp, heat emboss, and die-cut a bunch of butterflies. This way they are ready for different projects. 

I used the coordinating Monarch Dies to cut it. The greeting is from Bottom of My Heart clear stamp set.
