Happy Mother's Day

Hi sweet friends! It's Julee Tilman, popping in with a little Mother's Day inspiration with the new Roses for You stamp set. I just love these beautiful roses and sweet sentiments.

I stamped the solo rose image from Roses for You, then colored with Copic markers and cut with my Scan 'n Cut machine (but there are coordinating dies as well). The sentiment circle is cut from a paper I swiped the ink pad direct to paper with Wintergreen and All That Jazz inks. I stamped the mother's day sentiment and then matted with a white circle.

The background is stenciled with the Delightfully Delicate Stencil with Wintergreen ink, then I stamped the love you so very much stamp repeatedly in All that Jazz for a meaningful background.  A bit of sponging around the edges finishes things off.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic day.

roses for you

Good morning! I’m sharing a quick & easy set of cards today using stamps from the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps April release. Sometimes I like to show how images can be used without coloring them in, so this set of cards is another example. (Next week I'll share a card with the same image, colored).

Product links: Roses For You Bundle, stamps and dies are also sold separately.

I started this CAS set of cards with four A2 size white card bases. Then I cut 4 pieces of cardstock in various colors to 3" squares. Using a MISTI stamping tool, I was able to stamp all four colors with the image being in the exact same place. Then each square was cut into quarters (cut @ 1 1/2", turn and cut again). The pieces were shuffled so each card base has one of each color that realigns to complete the image. You could tape them together on the back before adhering to the card, but I chose to leave about 1/16" space between them.

After the pieces were glued down, I added the sentiment. Again, a Misti tool makes it quick and easy for perfect placement.

Have a great day!
Diane

The Comforter

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal, here. Today I am sharing a card using several of the April release products.
To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel for the background.  To create the background I used the new Sunburst Layering Stencil. and three different colors of purple ink.
Next I stamped the roses from the Roses for You set, colored them and cut them out with the coordinating die. I popped them up along the edge of the panel using foam tape.
To finish the card I stamped the verse from the Church Family set with embossing ink and embossed it in white.

Hello Dear Friend

Hi sweet friends! It's Julee Tilman popping in with a clean and simple card design for you. Today is our April Release Inspiration Hop over on Instagram, so be sure to head over there for more inspiration and a chance to win a $25 gift code to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop.

I am absolutely in love with the beautiful new Roses for You stamp set illustrated by Jennifer Nilsson. These blooms were so fun to color up in some blue greens.  I added dimensional foam to the back of my colored and cut image and then set aside.

The background is a super easy technique, just swiping the Wintergreen ink pad three times lightly across white cardstock. I then splattered with some white, wintergreen, and all that jazz inks. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I added my flower to this panel, then popped the panel up on dimensional foam and adhered to a white A2 card base to finish things off.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderfully creative week.

Roses For You

 Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!

It's Ceal and today I am sharing a card featuring one of our newest sets, Roses For You.

To create this card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel for the image. I stamped the rose image in the corners and colored them using Copic markers.  The greeting is from the Script Sentiments set.

I stamped it embossing ink on a black strip and heated it using white embossing powder.

I have a little mistake to admit.  I actually made a boo boo on this card but used a great tip to cover it up. Head over to my blog Simply Beautiful to find out how.
