Hello Sweet Friends! Sheri here today with a COFFEE card featuring the NEW Special Blooms Bundle from the June 2022 Release. This set is also available individually if you are not interested in coordinating dies.

I had fun with the layout and pulled out some pattern papers from my stash along with the Coffee Word die.

Steps to Create Card:
  • Cut White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" on 11" side).
  • Cut Black Mat: 3 15/16" x 5 3/16"
  • Cut Black & White Pattern Paper Panel: 3 13/16" x 5 1/16"
  • Cut Black Mat: 3" x 4 3/16"
  • Cut Pink Pattern Paper Panel: 2 7/8" x 4 1/16"
  • Cut Black Rectangle Mat: 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
  • Cut White Stitched Rectangle Panel: 2 3/8" x 3 3/8"
  • Cut "Coffee" word die from Black Card Stock. (I only used a single layer but you can cut multiple and stack for added dimension).
  • Stamp sentiment with black ink on white stitched panel.
  • Stamp Flower/Cup image from the Special Blooms stamp set and color. (I stamped with alchol friendly ink and used copic marker).
  • Die Cut Flower/Cup image with the Special Blooms coordinating die set. If you don't have you can easily fussy cut it out.
  • Assemble card. (Bottom layer and cup are popped up with foam tape which is optional).
  • For embellishment I added a few black pearls.

Double Dose of Caffeine

Hey sweet friends! It's Julee Tilman, popping in to share a double dose of caffeine featuring two different looks with my Special Blooms set.

For this first card, I colored the cup and the bloom image with Copic markers, then accented with white gel pen.  I cut with the coordinating dies. If you're inspired to shop, you'll save a bit if you buy the stamp set and dies together in this bundle.

I was feeling like getting my fingers inky, so pulled out some kraft cardstock and stenciled it with the Grunge Dots and Paint Splatters Stencils in varying shades of brown ink. Next I embossed the sentiment directly on the panel and inked around the edges.

The butterfly was already colored and fussy cut from a previous art session. It's from the Spread Your Wings stamp set and I had coated it with embossing ink and sparkle embossing powder for extra shine.  I then decided placement and stamped the same butterfly in black directly on my stenciled panel and popped up the butterfly to finish things off.

My second card is a simple one, making use of patterned paper from my stash for an easy layout. The sentiment is stamped onto a die cut circle, then I added the cup and bloom image and a bit of skinny ribbon from days gone by. There you have it, one stamp set... two different looks.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your day is filled with lots of happy.

You are Special

Happy Saturday! Have you checked out the June MIni Release yet? Julee Tilman's new set, Special Blooms, is so sweet!

I made the background in January and pulled it from my stash for this card. I die cut the panel, added black dots with a texture stamp, and matted with green. I wrapped white string along one edge and attached to a white card base.

I stamped the flower image, frame and sentiment with black ink and die cut out. I colored the image with watercolor brush markers and added with dots with a gel pen. This was a quick, easy card and I love all the green!

thirsty soul

Good morning! Today I am sharing a few Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps projects that I recently made, two mini slimline cards and a decorated mini composition notebook.

Product links: Thirsty Soul Stamp & Die Bundle, Be Encouraged, Special Blooms Stamp & Die Bundle (bundles are also sold separately).

To make the mini slimline cards, I followed the measurements in the April 2022 SheetLoad of Cards. It's a fun card design and a great way to get more use from your papers. The sentiment strip hangs slightly off the card front, which is shorter than the back. The first card has a sentiment from Be Encouraged and the sentiment on the second card was created with the cactus set. It has great images!

I used the Thirsty Soul Stamp & Die Bundle again to decorate a mini composition notebook. I have been using up some of my scraps on this smaller type of project. They are great for little gifts, and I've laid a bunch that I decorated for mini prayer journals on a free resource table at our church. They seem to be appreciated as they have disappeared pretty quickly!

Have a great day!
Diane

Happy Everything

Hello, Esther here today with this summery floral card. To create my card I stamped one of the flower pots from the Special Blooms Stamp Set twice on mixed media paper and colored them with my Arteza Real Brush Pens before die cutting with the coordinating Special Blooms Dies. I die cut a tag from black card stock and added some white text using the Typewriter Text Background stamp. The gingham was stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink using one of the images from Texture Tiles 4 . A bit of ribbon, three rhinestones, and some paper lace complete this card.

Every Day is Special

Hi friends, it's Julee Tilman, popping in with a little inspiration with my newest release, Special Blooms. I love me some flowers, so couldn't wait to color these images up.

I went with a pink combo for the flowers, and a blue for the pot and background, coloring the images with Copic markers and then cutting with the coordinating die cuts.  I wanted a little more dimension, so I stamped and colored the pot flower again and cut out just the flower to pop up over my die cut image.

For the darker panel, I masked off a rectangle, then blended the entire panel with a stone blue. Next I stenciled over the blended piece with the Diamond Tile Stencil in a dark blue. Not wanting to waste the ink still on my stencil, I spritzed it with water and then pressed it to a white panel for the main card background.  I finished off with some blue cardstock, and a vellum sentiment embossed in blue.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous day!

special blooms

Good morning! Today I am sharing some cards using a new stamp & die set from the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps June release. Floral images are always a favorite of mine, so I was eager to use this new set. If you're a coffee lover, you'll be happy to see that one image has a mug as well!

Product links: Special Blooms Stamp & Die Bundle (also sold separately).

I sort-of followed Julee's sketch for my first card but I added the potted plant, so I shifted the layers a bit. Both of the flowers are popped with foam tape, and I went a bit old-school with some faux stitching (I miss that!).

I wanted my second card to be more CAS and I wanted to add some of the flowers in black & white. After getting my images on the card, I wasn't quite sure where to put the sentiment, but I think it worked out. :)

Have a great day!
