Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving! It's hard to believe that we are nearing the end of another year. Thanksgiving is a time to look back over the year and reflect on the many blessings in our lives, and in spite of our circumstances at the present, whether good or trying, we do have much to be thankful for. We want to take this time to thank all of our Sweet 'n Sassy patrons who have been such a blessing to us throughout the year. We so appreciate your support and friendship! I also want to personally thank Korin for the way she honors Christ in every stamp set she and her illustrators design, and for the compassionate and caring person that she is. We, on your design team, could not ask for a more kind and generous leader! We LOVE you! Mwaaaah!
And now...I have several cards to share. First, everyone's favorite, adorable mouse, Cocoa, with a Thanksgiving wish for all of you!
The image from Autumn Lovin' Cocoa was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut, and popped up on the circle panel. The sentiment is from another Cocoa set, Fall Time Cocoa. The sketch is this week's Mojo Monday sketch.
This masculine birthday card features the new Tender Thoughts, Spectacular Snowflakes, and the matching die sets.
The Salted Technique found HERE was used after embossing the Spectacular Snowflakes on the background. Glitter was added to one of the large Snowflake Dies. The sentiment is from the Snowflake Flourish clear stamp set.
I hope you've been inspired by your visit!
Be sure to stop back tomorrow, Black Friday, for the beginning of the Thanksgiving Sale! Select stamp sets and dies will be on sale for 20% - 25% off the regular price.
May your Thanksgiving be full of fun, laughter, friends, and family...and of course good food!
"...in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
Hugs,
Cathy

Season's Greeting
Hello! It's Monika here today, bringing you a Holiday card.
I am in full Christmas mode now and trying to come up with interesting designs using the wonderful new stamp and die sets that were released this month.
Today I used Tender Thoughts and Spectacular Snowflakes clear stamp sets, and the coordinating Birch Forrest Die and Spectacular Snowflakes Die sets.

The snowflake was stamped and heat embossed on Vellum, then die-cut with the matching die. It was the perfect embellishment to my card along with the wood veneer tree and pearls. The background was splattered with white watercolor after I stamped the trees.

a suspension/tent card
Hello and happy Saturday! For my card today, I combined a Suspension Card with a Tent Card to create this snowy hello...
I used the new Sweet 'n Sassy Spectacular Snowflake dies to cut an opening in the card front. A large snowflake was stamped through the opening, onto the inside of the card. Then I borrowed some of my husband's fishing line ;) to suspend the smaller die cut and stamped snowflakes. The fishing line is adhered at the top and bottom with Scor-Tape. The lighter purple layer was embossed and additional snowflakes were added, along with a sentiment banner (from my Snowy Hello stamp set).
Since there's no place on the tent cards to write a short message and sign it, I like to add a little something to the back. Sometimes it's a pocket with a tag but this time I simply added the negatives from the die cut opening on the front.

A Golden Christmas
Hello Friends!
The holiday season has officially begun! Can you feel it? About a week ago one of my dear friends wrote and asked if I was familiar with the musical, "Mame." Why yes, I wrote back. She went on to write how much she was looking forward to Christmas this year. Well Santa dear we're in a hurry! For we need a little Christmas, we need a little music, need a little laughter, need a little singing, ringing through the rafters. We need a little Christmas now!
Let's start by looking at this card made especially for you my friends. I'm inviting you to get in the mood. Put on some music, have a hot beverage, and sing or hum that catchy tune from Mame. See, now you're in the Christmas spirit! My card today features a sneak peek of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps new November Release, Spectacular Snowflakes and Coordinating Dies. Oh my goodness friends they are some kinda gorgeous. Big, medium, and small snowflakes with coordinating dies. I used the small snowflakes and die today.
A beautiful ivory card decorated with flat pearls, pale champagne rhinestones, and liquid pearls. My ribbon is light and airy with a hint of gold. I did not pop up the snowflakes so this card could actually be mailed. The sentiment is from our previous September release, Christmas Silhouettes. I stamped with Stampin' Up's Soft Suede ink and sponged the outside of the panel with it as well. I have talked with you about my desire to use up my designer papers. I'm being a good girl Santa and doing just as I promised. This paper is from several years ago. I believe the name is "Merry Christmas" and is from Craft 'n Craftin' (I think). I thought it was so prefect to use this way. I love the idea of creating my Scandinvian looking tree with these snowflakes. Hope you do too.
So haul out the holly, think about those fruitcakes, and the lovely cards you'll be sending to family and friends. Come join us this Thursday evening at Splitcoaststampers for our November Release Party on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Forum won't you. We need to talk turkey (giggle).
See you there!
