Don't worry drink Coffee!

Hello Everyone!!  It's Sheri Gilson here to share another card as the March/April Guest Designer.   I thought that it would be fun to play along with the Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop that is taking place over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog by creating a COFFEE THEMED card using The Pick Me Up stamp & due bundle.

For my card I stuck with a simple design with a few layers and shades of brown.  I embossed the background and distressed it with some Kraft ink to give it a coffee stained appearance.

The Pick Me Up stamp set is available individually or as a bundle.  While supplies last the stamp and die bundle is available for an amazing 50% off until it's sold out!!!  You can find it HERE.

Stand Tall- Happy Birthday!

Hi Sweet Friends!

Wow! What a fabulous new Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps release this past Friday!!

Today I am sharing a card that I created using the brand new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps (SNSS) Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set (designed by Korin Sutherland).  I love this new stamp set, it is so cute and the sentiments are perfect for many occasions!

To create this card:

1). Emboss a piece of designer paper with a lattice embossing folder, trim and mount onto flamingo cardstock, trim and mount onto the chocolate card base.

2). Die cut two banners with a stitched banner die (I used a flamingo cardstock and a chocolate patterned paper from my stash), adhere both directly to the card front per the sketch and add the patterned paper rectangle.

3). Die cut a piece of white and patterned paper with a stitched rectangle die, mount each onto chocolate cardstock and trim both close to the die cut edge.  Add the patterned paper rectangle directly to the card front on an angle.

4). Ink the group of hearts image from the SNSS Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set with archival black ink, stamp onto the white die cut rectangle and color with a flamingo water-based marker.

5). Heat emboss the giraffe image from SNSS Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set  with black embossing powder onto white cardstock and color the image with water-based markers.  Add white highlights to the eyes with the Sharpie Extra Fine White Paint Pen.  Fussy cut the giraffe and adhere to the white die cut rectangle.

6). Mount the fussy-cut SNSS Stand Tall giraffe image panel onto the card with dimensional foam.

7). Heat emboss the sentiment from the SNSS Stand Tall Clear Stamp Set with white embossing powder onto chocolate cardstock, hand cut the banner and mount onto the card front.

8). Die cut the hearts using the SNSS Pick Me Up Dies- a small and large heart from flamingo cardstock and a large heart from chocolate cardstock.  Add to the card front to finish off the card.

This was a fun card to create!  Thanks again for taking the time to visit!  Hugs and I hope you have a fabulous week, sweet friends!

Pick Me Up Monday

Happy Monday, Sweet Friends!

Julie, here to share a fun Mixed Media card using the Pick Me Up clear stamp set along with the coordinating Pick Me Up die set.

The background was created using a stencil with Copper Crackle Paste over a piece of designer paper.  Add a bit of Gesso over the paste as well as Distress Stain, distress the edges and layer onto dark brown cardstock, add a ribbon strip with lace and the background is finished.

Stamp the mug, steam, chevrons and sentiment from the Pick Me Up clear stamp set with a dye based ink, color the heart on the mug with a pink alcohol marker and cut out with the coordinating Pick Me Up die set.

Create the tag element by coloring a piece of designer paper with a pink alcohol marker and layer onto dark brown cardstock, add a satin ribbon triple bow to the top of the tag, mount the tag along with the stamped images using dimensional foam and add a rhinestone to the heart to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by- have a blessed week!!

Pick Me Up

Hello Sweet Friends!  Julie here to share a fun card created with two sets- Pick Me Up and Grunge Elements.

I love the Pick Me Up stamp set with the Pick Me Up coordinating dies!  The sentiments in the stamp set are perfect for thinking of you along with thank you cards and the cute little coffee (or cocoa) mug with the heart is just adorable!

I also love the Grunge Elements set (and now there is a great Grunge Elements 2 set as well) for adding just that right amount of distressing- on this card I used one of the splatters to mimic spilled coffee- lol!!

I decided to break the “I just want to espresso my thanks” sentiment apart to fit onto a stenciled heart...this is another thing that I love about clear stamps- you can see where you are stamping!  In fact, I will let you in on a secret- I cut this stamp apart so I could center the sentiment but also use the words separately in the future :-)  Again, another reason why I love clear stamps!!

Pick Me Up Dies
During this holiday season, we want to take a moment to “espresso our thanks” to all of you!   May you have a blessed Christmas as we celebrate the greatest gift of all, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!

Thanks A Latte

Good morning friends, today I am sharing a card with you that uses our cute new set Pick Me Up along with the coordinating dies. This set makes the cutest cards.  To make my card I started with a 4.25 X 5.5 piece of Kraft cardstock and added some designer paper. I stamped the cup image and used the coordinating die to cut it out. To finish it I added a little heart border.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!

Espresso my thanks!

Good morning!

Jessica here with a card to share today that I made with a couple of the new March stamp and die sets through Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps: Pick Me Up and Borders & Backgrounds.

The flag banners at the top of the card are from the arrow die in the Pick Me Up stamp set - fun!  I used linen white card stock to die cut the border dies and purposely didn't stamp them cleanly, as I wanted a bit of the texture of the paper to show through.

Have a great day!
Jessica
