Oh Happy Day

Hey there Sweet 'n Sassy friends!
It's Ceal, here. Today I am sharing a bright and happy floral card using one of my favorite techniques.
I just happen to love paper piecing, its so relaxing and I think I also like it because it reminds me of a puzzle and I love puzzles.

To make this card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel. I stamped the flowers from the Happiness Blooms set and then stamped them again on different colors of patterned paper and cut them out and glued them over the original stamped image. The leaves I colored with Copic markers.
I finished the card by adding a sentiment is from the Sentimental Wordfetti set embossed in white on a black strip.

Rejoice Always

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal, here to share a card with you today.
I was scheduled to post this past monday but I was on a mission trip with no internet.
To create this card I started with a to folding white card base and a watercolor paper panel cut to the same size. I created the background by using Atelier  re- inkers in Sweet Petunia Pink and Bee Sting Yellow. I stamped the floral image from the Happiness Blooms set over it. The sentiment is from the Faith Phrases set.

Hello Sweet Friends! Sheri here today  with a mini slimline card featuring the NEW Happiness Blooms stamp set. This set is the May 2022 Stamp of the Month and is FREE with any $65 Order.

Steps to Create Card:
  • Cut White Mini Slimline Card Base: 6" x 3 1/2" (6" x 7", scored at 3 1/2" on the 7" side.
  • Cut Green Mat: 5 3/4" x 3 1/4".

  • Take white panel and stamp three of the floral images from the Happiness Blooms stamp set to go across the panel. Start in the center so the images will go off the side of the panel naturally. Use an ink that does with your coloring medium of choice. I used an alchol friendly ink and colored with Copic markers.

  • Assemble card. The Green mat and sentiment strip are popped up with foam tape. This is totally optional.
  • For embellishment I added a light dusting of Glitter on the flowers and a few clear rhinestones.

Warm Blooms

Hi sweet friends! It's Julee Tilman, popping in with a bit of sunny inspiration for your Wednesday.  This month's Stamp of the Month, Happiness Blooms, is such a smile maker. I love these whimsical flowers and the sweet sentiments that are the perfect size for adding to cards.

I was inspired by a recent art project my boys brought home from school. They were to only use warm colors at the top of the page and cool colors at the bottom.  I loved their yellow/orange/red combinations, so decided to use that color palette when I sat down to do some Copic coloring. I cut the image out with my Brother Scan 'n Cut machine, then added a few embellishments to the flower centers.

I wanted to create a little scene for the card, so chose a bright, sunny colored background, then added a hill die cut from the Hillside Edges Die Set to ground my flowers.  I added a red vertical panel for a little contrast, then pulled out the Count Your Rainbows stamp and die set for the clouds.

The sentiment is stamped onto a die cut circle, then I stamped and fussy cut one of the flowers from the Happiness Blooms image to accent it.

The Happiness Blooms stamp set is available to purchase, or you can receive it for FREE with a $60 order during the month of May. Just add it to your cart and the discount will apply automatically once your order reaches $60.

Bright & Sunny

Happy Saturday! I am sharing a simple and cheerful card featuring the May stamp of the month Happiness Blooms and the new Mixed Up stencil.

I began by stenciling the background on kraft with white pigment ink. Next, I stamped the image on the panel with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink, let dry and colored with polychromos colored pencils. It's my first time coloring on kraft with pencils. I left my stamp on my stamping platform and reinked the image with black again after I was done coloring it.

Next, I matted the panel on yellow, wrapped twine around it and attached to a white card base. Finally, I stamped the sentiment on kraft, trimmed to size and glued to the front. To finish the card off, I added some black gems to the flower centers and three small orange ones around the image.

Happiness Blooms

Today I have a fun card for you using the Sweet N Sassy Stamp of the Month Happiness Blooms.

Using Distress Inks, I stamped Texture Tiles 1 to create a background on watercolor paper. I spritzed it a bit to give it a watercolor(y) look. I stamped the flower from Happiness Blooms over it and colored with Copic markers. It has a loose look because of the Copics on watercolor paper. To give it a more crisp look, I went back in with Polychromos pencils. I love the colors on this one. I layered it all up and there is the card. I just needed a sentiment...The sentiment strip comes from Pray Without Ceasing. It is a great encouragement card don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are inspired.
