Dreamy Parisian Postcard

Hello, Sweet 'N Sassy friends.  Angie here with this week's Design Diva Demo!

I am playing with Brusho Crystal Colors today to create a fun background along with images from our Parisian Postcard clear stamp set.  Here's what you will need for this fun project.

Brushos Crystal Colors, paper flowers, adhesive fabric paper, Parisian Postcard, water mister.

Sleeping cat optional

Sprinkle Brushos on fabric paper.  It doesn't take much.  You can see a light dusting of powder on the frabric paper.

Mist with water and watch the magic happen.

In seconds the pigment becomes soft and dreamy.

Sprinkle just a bit of powder on flowers.

Photograph card to share online with your friends....get distracted by furbaby!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  You can find Parisian Postcard in the  Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.

Get Well Critter(s)...

Hello! It's Monika here today with a get well card. It was made for a teenage boy so I kept it somewhat neutral...

I stamped the sweet image from Get Well Critters Clear Stamp Set on water color card stock with Jet Black Archival ink and water colored it with Gansai Tambi Kuratake water color. Then I cut the image out... while I hand cut the image, there is a coordinating die: Get Well Critters Die Set.
To make the background, I swiped (smooshed) Onyx Black Memento ink on my craft sheet, spritzed it with water, and laid my water color card stock on top... then I heat dried the card stock.
The grass was cut with the Fence & Grass Die Set.
The bottom of the card stock was covered with washi tape.

Thank you for stopping by today,
Monika

Thank You

Greetings crafty friends! Kim here with you today to share a card that I created using the beautiful Parisian Postcard set. This versatile set contains an Eiffel Tower image along with an assortment of Paris-inspired stamps that are perfect for collage creations.

Creating my card was a snap! I started with lightly stamping a script background, and then layered some of those wonderful stamp designs, from the Parisian Postcard set, over the script. The Eiffel Tower image was stamped on a separate piece of cardstock, then fussy cut, and applied with foam tape. A few pieces of ribbon were added under the tower image.

I also used a blending tool and Distress Ink to age the edges. Because Distress Ink reacts with water, I was able to use a small water brush and activate the ink and move it around a bit, creating a worn, weathered look. The rest of my card features designer paper from Bo Bunny and a few color coordinated pearls.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and be sure to check out the full Parisian Postcard set!

lovely lotus

Good morning!

Last week I sat down to color these floral images from the Sweet 'n Sassy Lovely Lotus stamp set and realized just how pretty they are in person!  This set is beautiful and has such pretty sentiments!

Once colored, I was undecided on how I was going to use them, so they were temporarily set aside while I was off to stamp with friends.  One of my friends showed us the Shadow box Card and I remembered making these with an extra layer inside so that became my plan for the lotus images.  I never did end up adding that extra layer...lol...but it turned out pretty none-the-less! (maybe next time!)

Here's a view from the top so you can see the dimension of the card.  It folds flat for mailing...perfect!

Thanks for popping in!  Happy stamping!
♥  Diane

New Mercies

Hi there Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal, here to share with you today.  I am in the middle of a move so I am sharing a card that I made a couple days ago for a challenge using an older set  but one that definitely loved and is so versatile, Landscape Silhouettes

To make my card I used some post-it tape to mask off an area to sponge the background using distress inks. After I was okay with how my background looked I stamped the silhouette image in versa fine black onyx ink.
I used a greeting for the set Be Encouraged, to remind the recipient that God's mercies are new every morning and praise the Lord for that!
