Over The Moon

Hello Sweet & Sassy Friends!
It's Ceal, here to share a couple more cards with you using the Over the Moon set from our July release.

To create my first card I started with a gray card base and a white panel. I stamped the little astronaut and the masked him off and created the galaxy background by blending some Blue, yellow, and Pink ink around the astronaut using the Life Changing Blending Brushes, next I blended some distress oxide ink in Hickory Smoke and Black Soot over the other colors. I spritzed it with water and then added some white acrylic paint to create the starry sky.
To finish the card I removed the mask, colored the image using Copic markers and added the birthday greeting from the Scripty Thoughts set

The second card took a lot less time. I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the rocket image also from the Over the Moon set on the panel and colored it using Copic Markers. I used a Star stencil for the background along with yellow ink blended with the Life Changing Blending Brushes. To finish the card I added the greeting in the bottom corner.

I have used affiliate links in my post, what does this mean? If you follow the links or click on the description picture below and shop from them, I will receive a small commission from the sale which is no additional cost to you but compensates me for using the product and my time.
Thank you for your support!

Shoot for the moon

Hello everyone! Today I want to show you a card I made with the stamp set 'Over the Moon'.

I colored the images with alcohol markers and cut them out. I made the background with Distress inks and added a couple of drops with sparkling watercolors to create a starry/space look. I die cut a border with a cloudy edge and stamped the message on the 'cloud'. After that all that's left to do is adhering everything to the card.

I hope you're inspired to create!

To the Moon and Back!

I have a fun card today using the new Over the Moon set and it is so adorable! I created a galaxy background with Distress oxides but with a twist...a big 'ole moon behind the astronaut.

I colored the astronaut with some cool gray Copics. Once I finished coloring him, I went back over his face (yes it is scary) with a white colored pencil and drew parenthesis around his face - to make it look like he was behind a glass bubble. (I hope that makes sense - I am not sure how else to describe it :) )

For my moon, I used the paper towel technique from the TLC at Splitcoast Stampers.
I used the sentiment on the inside this time as I loved my little guy (who looks like he is waving from space) and thought he should be the center of this one!

I hope you are inspired to try a galaxy background. It is a bit messy, but lots of fun and oh so worth it!

Thanks,  for stopping by!

The Shepherd's Voice

{jane bosi}  Hello, Sweet Friends!! Today, I am sharing a few projects I created using the new release The Shepherd's Voice.  This versatile set is perfect for bible journaling, mixed media, card making and more!

I adore the beautiful shepherd and sheep images of this set! Such a beautiful visual to remind us of the way our Heavenly Father cares for us.  I am so thankful for a God who pursues His lost sheep, who has given me opportunity after opportunity to come back to Him.  I am thankful for a God who came for me and took my debit.  I am thankful for a God who now tells me to follow Him, and is patient in my stumblings.  I am thankful for a relentless grace only Christ gives, because I am a relentless vagabond always seeking to jump ship. He is faithful when I am not; He is constant when I am not; He is everything when I am nothing; yet, He says I am His and that is EVERYTHING! (adapted from TB Laberge/She Rises)

My bible journaling features The Shepherd's Voice along with Sunshine Girl and Bitty Minnie alphabets.

My card, also features The Shepherd's Voice and the Stamp of the Month, Sentimental Wordfetti.  Jut a little dry embossing, a colored image and a sentiment--quick, simple and perfect for just about any occasion!

Thanks for stopping today; be blessed!
TTFN, Jane

Now for my card for today. Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has so many timeless Christmas sets! I love a good Christmas card that puts the reason for the season right up front and center and these stamps make it so easy!

Product links below contain compensated affiliate links at no cost to you

For this card I pulled out two of my favorite Christmas sets, O Holy Night and We Three Kings. I thought the star of wonder sentiment would pair so beautifully with the nativity image.

I first sponged peacock feathers distress oxide on a piece of cardstock, then embossed the nativity silhouette in white over the top of it.  I cut this with a circle die and then matted with thin foam for some dimension.

I decided to follow the current Mojo Monday sketch for the layout, so stamped and embossed the star of wonder sentiment from We Three Kings in the upper corner of my card panel.  Next I masked off a section and blended with peacock feathers and broken china ink. I added some of the teeny star images from O Holy Night in white pigment ink for some texture.

Next I cut a horizontal strip of black cardstock and then a slightly smaller one of  white and embossed it with the silent night sentiment.  I finished off with a bit of washi tape at the bottom for accent and a star rhinestone embellishment from my stash.

That's all the creative details on this card! Next stop on the hop is my blog, Poetic Artistry where I'm treating you to another Christmas creation.

In other news, Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is celebrating hitting 10,000 likes on their company page on Facebook. If you haven't already, be sure to head over there for a SERIOUSLY awesome giveaway!

Hello

Hello friends, have you jumped on the mermaid bandwagon yet?  If not, this is the perfect set for you, so fun to play with!  Fin-tastic Friends by Jennifer Nilsson.  For my card I first made the sand with oxide ink and added a little texture with one of the stamps from Texture Tiles1. Next I masked off the sand and made the water again with oxide ink and spritz it with water to get the bubble look.  I colored all my characters with Copic Markers and fussy cut them to create my scene.
I decided to make a couple note cards using this month's STAMP OF THE MONTH, SENTIMENTAL WORDFETTI.  I love this set, you can use it alone or with other sentiment stamps for endless possibilities.  I paired it with Itty Bitty Blossoms, I colored with Copic markers and the design papers are both from The Paper Studios. SENTIMENTAL WORDFETTI IS FREE WITH YOUR $60 PURCHASE THIS MONTH!!!  As Always you get FREE SHIPPING WITH A $75 PURCHASE!
Happy Stamping,
~Stephanie

by the sea

Good morning! Today I have 3 cards to share using the Sweet ‘n Sassy By The Sea stamp set from the new release. I also used the July Stamp of the Month, Sentimental Wordfetti. My first card is pretty simple. I lightly "swiped" an ink cube across the panel for some texture, then stamped the image over top. The umbrella was paper pieced.

I stamped/masked the shells and starfish to coordinate with my sentiment on the second card!

And I masked the shells again on my last card to create a Christmas card. I tore a piece of paper and repeatedly sponged the edge for the background.

Have a great day!
Diane

By the Sea & Sentimental Wordfetti

Hello! It's Monika here today with cards using some of the new release images (along with some other favorites)...

Have you been enjoying the fun projects with the July stamp sets? I love the summer theme and the sweet images! The July Stamp of the Month set will be one of my go to sets for sure with the awesome sentiments!

My first card was made with By the Sea clear stamp set:

The background was made with Tranquil Tim Holtz Alcohol ink. It looks really nice in real like... the images were heat embossed with white embossing powder on water color card stock, then colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi water colors.

The little flower and leaf images are from Itty Bitty Blossoms clear stamp set.
The butterfly image is from Made New clear stamp set.

I hope I have inspired you to craft today!

Thank you for stopping by!

Monika

That's Just Fin-tastic!

Hello sweet friends!  I have a few cards to share with you today using the new Fin-tastic Friends stamp set released this month by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

My underwater scene was created with stamps from the Fin-tastic Friends stamp set along with some images from the Mer-mazing set which is a perfect complement.  The underwater background was sponged using a torn paper mask and Oxide inks.  The sandy bottom is torn Kraft card stock stamped with texture from Texture Tiles 1.  The adorable images were colored with Copic Markers, cut with a Scan 'n Cut and popped onto the background.  The sentiment was white embossed on teal card stock to finish the card.

On my second card Stitched Edges Dies were used to cut two panels from a piece of Yupo paper that was swiped with Alcohol Inks.  These were popped onto a white panel leaving without the center piece.  The Copic colored images from the Fin-tastic Friends set were cut and pieced onto the card.  The sentiment was pieced together using the Sentimental Wordfetti and Typewriter Blocks Alpha stamp sets.

The stamp sets used in the cards above are available at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.

To see more cards made with these fabulous stamp sets and others released this month, take time to participate in the July Release Blog Hop which begins HERE.  It's not too late to comment for a chance to win the prize!
