Perfect Blend

Hi friends! It's Julee popping in to share one of my favorite creations from this month.

This card uses the darling Tea for Two set. I just love the sweet images in this set and have crazy love for both coffee and tea. This particular color combo reminds me of a very special friend, so I thought this sentiment would be perfect.

To start the card, I colored in the fabulous pot, mug, and tea bag images with Copic markers and then fussy cut.  To create a backdrop for the images, I stamped one of the backgrounds from this awesome set on a circle, then blended with squeezed lemonade distress oxide.  I matted this with a scalloped black circle die cut and then layered my images, tucking the little teabag string behind the pot.

The sentiment is stamped on a strip of white cardstock, then I accented it with the heart steam image from the set and then colored with Copics and a gold gel pen. The background paper is from the Coffee collection by Echo Park and I finished off with a black mat and a white card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

You Color My World

Hello Sweet 'N Sassy Friends!  Sheri here today with a couple cards featuring the NEW Back to School stamp set illustrated by Jennifer Nilsson.

***THIS POST CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU***
I just had to make one more card featuring this ADORABLE new set.  I created a 4.25" square card.  For the background I created my own pattern paper by randomly stamping the crayon stamp and then I colored them with copic markers.  I topped it off with a little sentiment strip. I added some twine and attached to a card base.

#1 Teacher

Hello friends, Stephanie here.  Today I have a cute little note card perfect for a child to give a teacher on the first day of school.  I love this new set Back To School by Jennifer Nilsson.  I colored with Copic markers and used a bunch of scraps for my background.
My second card features Singing Praises which is the Stamp of the Month by Nina Brackett.  Oh my goodness, just a precious stamp set so near and dear to my heart because I am a bird lover.  I colored with Copic Markers and again used up scraps.  I fussy cut the little flowers and added some pearls to the center.  You can get this set free for a few more days when you place a $75 order.  Hurry, you don't want to miss out!

Hide me in the shadow of your wings

Hello everyone! Today I want to share a card I made with 'Singing Praises'.

I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it with watercolor markers and a water brush. After that I decided I wanted to add a message on the card too so I stamped the Psalm on the watercolor panel. I kept the card simple and added the watercolor panel to a dark blue card and that's it.

Create your Own Background

Hi Friends! Today I have a fun background card for you using lots of stamp sets and my MISTI. This technique is a great way to stretch your stamps and create something unique...Speaking of my MISTI, have you had the opportunity to join in on the combo blog hop with My Sweet Petunia and Sweet N Sassy Stamps? If not, you still have a week to hop along and comment for a chance to win a $50 gift code to each shop. The link is at the bottom of this post :)

For today's project, I went through all my stamp sets and pulled ones with Birthday appropriate sentiments and images to create a subway art type layout. You could, of course, use any theme you want (I think Thank You and Christmas would be fun too!)

I arranged all the sentiments first, placing them both vertically and horizontally. Then I went back and filled in blanks with images (smaller and larger depending on the open spaces.)

Once the layout is satisfactory, I inked it up and created my card panel. I created a panel on both Xpress it paper and Neenah Dessert Storm (kraft) card and colored it with Copics.

You can create as many cards as you want now that it is set up on your MIST and since it takes a while to set up, I find myself not quite ready to dismantle it (haha!) I think this one would be great for stash of birthday cards - what do you think?

If you would like to join in on the blog hop now, START HERE!

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamp Sets used for this card included:

All Wrapped up

Sentimental Wordfetti

Llama Love

Be Unique

Birthday Pals (discontinued)

Friendship

{jane bosi} Happy Thursday, Friends!!  I'm still loving on this sweet set, Tea For Two!  This card makes me think of my mom who loves lady bugs!

We recently hopped along with My Sweet Petunia.....I'm not going to lie--I NEVER stamp without my MISTI!  I've struggled for years getting that deep black image---I cannot recall how many black pads I've tried and paper I've wasted.  Who knew the real magic was in the MISTI??  I'm so grateful for smart friends and great ideas!

I stamped the sweet tea cup bunny on water color paper first and then colored with some Azteca water color markers.  While I love dies, I'm also a fan of fussy cutting!  Those sweet little lady bugs pair nicely with some red sequins for just the right finishing touch!

Have a great day!  TTFN, Jane

Friendship Warms the Heart

Hello sweet friends!  Cathy here and I have a couple of cards to share with you today using products from the August release.  First up is a card created with the Tea For Two stamp set.  What a cute set...perfect for sending warm wishes!

A background was created with some papers from my stash and a little stamped texture using one of the stamps from the Texture Tiles 3 stamp set.  The steam from the Tea for Two stamp set was stamped over the texture and a heart shaped frame was cut using some Spellbinders Dies.  The teapot, cups and tea bag were colored with Copic Markers, cut with my Scan 'N Cut and popped onto the card.  The split sentiment was embossed above and below the heart frame to finish the card.

My second card features the Stamp of the Month which is available free with a $75 purchase until the end of the month.

Twilight and Sand Castle inks were swiped down a sheet of white card stock.  The wood grain stamp from Texture Tiles 2 was used with Black Jack ink to create texture.  A wood grain texture plate was then used to emboss the panel before it was cut into four sections.  The sections were mounted to a piece of pink card stock.  A Tim Holtz die was used to cut two spirals and the bird from the Singing Praises stamp set was Copic colored to resemble a bluebird, cut with the Scan 'N Cut and mounted to the card.  A sentiment from Sentimental Wordfetti was embossed on a banner die cut to finish the card.

The stamp sets used are available from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Cathy

Clean & Simple Stamping

Hello there and thanks for stopping by.
It's Ceal, here and I am sharing a couple of super CAS cards with yo today.
My style is clean and simple but this past wee I have been catching up on Dare to get Dirty challenges at Splitcoastsrampers so these two cards are super CAS.

To make these card I simply stamped my images, the Unicorn from the Be Unique set and the rocket from the Over the Moon set and colored them using Copic markers. The greetings on both cards are from the Faith Wordfetti set

In His Image

Hello! It's Monika here today with couple of cards using the new Creative Worship: In His Image clear stamp set

My first card also incorporates images from Back to School, Itty Bitty Blossoms, Sentimental Wordfetti and Typewriter Text Background clear stamp sets. I love how it all came together with lots of dimensions and fun elements... without the flowers, this would also make an excellent masculine card!

I stamped the images on water color card stock then colored them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi water colors before cutting them out. The text background was (again) the perfect backdrop... subtle, but still noticeable...

My second card is filled with images just from In His Image clear stamp set. I used masking technique to stamp the bottom panel... then instead of coloring the images, I stamped them with the splatter image using different colors... it's so much fun to add a splash of color this way...

I hope I have inspired you to craft today!

Thank you for stopping by!
