Good morning! Today I have two quick & easy cards to share with some new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. Here I used the August Stamp of the Month set... Coffee Talk. The funny thing is that I don't drink coffee. But I do enjoy making coffee cards for others! They are always perfect, too, for tucking a gift card inside to a local coffee shop.
For my first card I stenciled some morning rays and layered an old die cut window I found in my stash. It was just what I needed to "sit" the coffee cup on.
Next I repeatedly stamped a cup and sentiment for a background. I planned to add a layer with my focal image but I liked the background so much that I didn't want to cover it up. I decided to make one of the cups my focal image instead. A scrap of patterned paper was used to paper piece the cup.
